Blue Bloods: Lost Ones (2023)
I think it's time to call it
I've been watching this show since the start and the last season has shown such a downward spiral in all of the characters performances. Maybe it's because I also catch all the reruns and this show was really good! But now Pop is aging so much it's like they force a scene to include him. Tom Selleck seems to struggle through his lines. Erin seems miserable as a character and an actor just going through the motions and Danny suddenly forgets how to act. Each episode gets worse. The story lines are even worse. Except for Joe Hill who is hardly in any episodes I thought there for a moment it was picking up. Know when to say when Blue Bloods.
The Rookie: Heart Beat (2022)
Nose dive just like the plane
This show was entertaining the first two seasons but lately it's just horrible. It's ashame, the cast is good but they seem to have forgotten how to act. I felt like I was watching a soap opera with the filming and I agree with the other review, the music is too loud and drowns out the dialogue.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Wolves in Sheep's Clothing (2021)
Only gave it a 6 and that was generous
The last few seasons of this has been just soooo off that it doesn't seem like the same show. I definitely agree with many other reviews that the politics are the main reason, we want to be entertained not banged over the head with world events. But I will say that it pulled through in this episode with the Rollins and Carissi kiss! Finally!
New Amsterdam: Radical (2021)
I tried
This show was fantastic during its first two seasons, so much so it was renewed for five seasons! I don't think it will last that long. I tried this season, I really thought the politics being shoved down our throats every episode would slowly start to ease and New Amsterdam would get back to being a fictional medical drama. I was wrong. It only gets more ridiculous (does Max ever practice medicine?) on top of this, the departure of Dr Kapoor definitely has made up my mind. This show is off my watch list.
Soulmates: Watershed (2020)
Really liked this!
I'm tired of the same Netflix, Hulu, ect content and thought I'd try this especially with only the 6 episode commitment. Not too futuristic and I found the characters sincere and believable. Cant wait for the next episode!
The Conners (2018)
Give it a chance!
I was not thrilled with the first episode, but I just watched the 2nd one and I think it's going to be a great show. Given the crap sitcoms out there this one has such a talented cast that I feel it really can't lose. I think the initial reviews were to quick to judge! Give it another go people!
Shades of Blue (2016)
Great ride til the end!
The first two seasons of this series was well worth your hour! However the third and final season left me struggling with what happened to the storyline itself. The last season seemed forced and all over the map. Ray Liotta was exceptional as usual.
Fargo (2014)
Season 3 was a waste of a great cast
I have to acknowledge the fabulous cast in Fargo Season 3, however the story line this time around was a bust! I loved all the previous Fargo's and waited anxiously for each new episode. This season was actually painful to finish. From the first episode I held on , assuming it to just improve each week. Not the case, in fact I found myself finishing up the series like it was a chore to just get done. So disappointed.
