The Lincoln Lawyer (2022)
Cast a wider net
Time to rethink the Netflix subscription again.
Michael Connelly's novels were - I suppose- formulaic but they had energy and pace. This series - well honestly the best descriptive for it is silly. It feels feels like a group of self appreciating acting cast and directing students somehow were let loose in a studio.
Plot lines are fine - enough to keep you interested if the rest of it worked. Unfortunately the direction is cheesy and flat.
And the acting is worse. It is actually hard to watch.
I weep for all of the hundreds or even thousands of really good actors out there looking for work.
I'd ask casting to throw their net wider next time.

Great storyline of paths crossing
Ok I acted in this so shouldn't try review it. But I can say That working on the characters with the director and the writer was a great experience. And working opposite Marie Carberry was even better 😁
