How corny can you get?????

I generally enjoy this show, but this whole story arc was just too much! Someone in the writers room must have recently watched Poseidon. This was just a dumb remake of a pretty good movie. EXCEPT it was totally unbelievable. And don't even get me started on Angela Bassett! Who could possibly wear white pants in a situation like this and have them looking pristine at the end??? I think the show needs to re-evaluate the writers room and make some changes. Otherwise just put the show actors and the audience out of our misery!

Make the stories more believable, don't try to remake movies...and pay attention to details!

I've never written a review, but I had to for this one.... it was that bad! The acting, the action, the writing.... the entire movie was a waste of space.... and I normally like cheesy disaster movies.....

One thing in particular irked me.... when they are in the ark, and the crew is looking out - supposed to be steering it - you never see it from their viewpoint...and every time they are supposed to be jostled, you can see the middle guy visibly make himself jump - usually after the bump occurred....

SO, in short...save yourself - Do not watch!!!! There are other 'bad' disaster movies that are better...and there are better disaster movies

YUCK!!! What did they do to the story???

Well, I stuck it out and watched all 8 episodes.....just because I wanted to see how badly they ended it....

I've read both Pillars and World without end...loved both of them. After seeing the first couple of episodes of World and not sure if my memory was that bad or that they had completely strayed from the story, I started reading the book again. Finished it just before the last episode. It proved me right in that the story has been changed, so it is barely recognizable.

Why did they feel the need to change the basic story? And the characters? Others before me have posted more details about the changes, but I can only say again, if you've read and liked the book, DON'T BOTHER...you will be disappointed.
