Hollywood Hearts (2016 TV Movie)

Shaking My Head

The acting is atrocious. I mean... unbearably bad. Just about everyone in this movie delivers their lines like some kinda large stick is permanently embedded in their backside. Thank God for Carl Payne who was a natural, of course given his background. He was wonderful. Benzino was pretty good. Definitely nowhere near the worst. Bobby V definitely doesn't have a future in acting. He had better hold tightly to singing, because thus far it is the only art form to which he is good at. If ever he wants a career change, he should go back to school and learn a trade of some sort... maybe a mechanic or something. Acting is not a viable option should he grow disillusioned with singing. This whole movie is nothing more than a music video that just won't freaking end, complete with video vixens and all. Unfortunately, unlike music videos somebody thought it would be a great idea to give the video chicks lines. They talk. They open their mouths... and talk. That's a no-no. Not a single one of them could act! I wish they would've kept their mouths shut and stuck only to doing what they do best: look pretty and make things jiggle. Bad bad all around just bad. Predictable paper thin plot to boot. I will give them this much- the soundtrack to this movie is definitely fire. Bobby V has some great songs and plenty of musical talent coming from various other artists is very much present. Other than that, watch at your own risk! Lol Smh

The Wrong Girl (2015 TV Movie)

She Seems Familiar...
9 July 2016
Before she became a single white female searching newspaper ads for a new bestie and before she entered college with plans to morph into her roommates dead sister, she was the wrong girl and former mental nutjob with serious daddy issues. Yep. This has to be the prequel to The Roommate and Single White Female. The movie left me hanging because I'm really not sure if she lived, died, went to prison. I don't know. But that's okay because it left me with the option to keep her psycho going strong. I'd like to think that after she dusted off all the leaves and removed the tree bark embedded in her forehead, she went on to become Leighton Meester, where she zeroes in on Minka Kelly for yet another round of straight up psycho. After her girl on girl showdown date with crazy as hell suffers a major meltdown, she doesn't die like we all thought she did. That's because it's hard to kill crazy. Nope. She instead moves to the Big Apple where she comes into her own as Jennifer Jason Leigh. Here, she is free to go full on psycho-b**ch and step up her game with a little 50 Shades of Grey (public service style), a small matter of murdering a puppy or four, oh! and just as she did in college (as well as that time she pretended to be a high school student), she sleeps with her stalkee's boyfriend... and all before trying to murder her, of course. She even decided to bring back that awesome twin-thing idea that worked so well in high school and college! I mean, it went over quite splendidly back then, did it not? Why not go there again? Oh yes, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, especially after watching all three movies back to back. Try it. It'll be hours of insatiable comedic joy that you will always remember fondly! Kick back and celebrate the moments of your life.

Vivica, Is That You?
7 July 2016
I don't think this counts as a spoiler alert, but the acting was so atrocious that it spoiled the entire movie! Like bad meat, it stinks and is impossible to swallow. I was so surprised by Vivica's performance that I wondered if LabCorp finally took it there and released a few human clones after all. Her other movies in the past were really good, so I really want to blame this performance on bad script writing. Some parts are just too ridiculous to properly act out, ya know. I mean, even Shirley MacLaine and Halle Berry couldn't have pulled off playing this role. It was just too bad and like some uncontrolled virus, spread from credits to credits- so bad that it somehow managed to infect even how the credits rolled. Even that was bad. Lol The other actors didn't fare so well, either. Especially the boy in question. As a potential bad guy, he failed. I can't truly say he was a bad guy, though. I felt sorry for him. Maybe it was the character itself or his acting abilities, but he came off more pathetic than evil. Still, I enjoyed it for some strange reason. I laughed. A lot. I normally laugh at movies on LMN and that's why I watch them. It was the best horrible movie I've seen in a while. Keep 'em coming!!!! LOL!!!!
