Urban Legend: The Creep in the Walls (2022)
My biggest pet peeve in horror
I hate when horror thinks they need to jump right into the spookiness, it completely ruins the atmosphere for me and makes it so I can't get invested in the story. If you start out all dark and creepy you have no where to go. You need to start with some bright day light, green grass, smiling faces, set a tone of comfort and normalcy so you ask yourself "am I watching the right movie?" Then you slowly add in darkness and scariness and hit hard with horror. This gets you invested and gets you scared. Spooky dark house right out the gate is such a terrible way to start any horror piece. Also 600 words is excessive, like chill bro.
Special Forces: World's Toughest Test (2023)
It's a tv show, calm down
The "staff" is so overly serious it's so funny, it's so camp, it's hilarious and a bit annoying. Like the celebrities are really supposed to take these old men trying to break into the acting industry seriously? Like they aren't scary, there are no stakes, this is just some drivel for old conservatives to watch and hate on celebrities while they sit on their couch. And calling them "staff" is so weird, the weirdest choice of word, especially for the celebrities to be calling people staff? How strange. Also everything is clearly made to be so incredibly safe there's really no tension. Like they're really gonna let something happen to Jojo Siwa? Lol yeah right.
Survive the Raft (2023)
I wanted to like this
But it's just so bad. It also doesn't help that they constantly reference the original experiment which sounds like it was much more interesting and would've made a better show. This show seemed like it wanted everyone at eachothers throats but they all just kinda worked together, and at worst were slightly annoyed by each other once in a while. Bringing new people on every episode and creating the vote was just straight up stupid, not gonna try to rip it apart, it was just a bad idea. They should have just been given the option to vote members off if they wanted, make it more ominous and random.
There are also no stakes at all. It's just all chill, they're clearly taken care of and don't have to do any real survival. It's like Big Brother on a boat but somehow more boring and with less conflict, honestly it's kind of amazing how much they seemed to fail at their own concept here of "difficult and different people being forced to live together."
This show needs to take its concept and mix it with The Mole, and simplify concepts a bit. There is just way too much going on, like several different shows happening at once.
Also Russ, the vegan and the little Karen ruined everything.
Rick and Morty: Full Meta Jackrick (2022)
Nearly unwatchable
This episode was so annoying, and most abhorrently, it was boring. You can always tell when the writers of a show are sick of writing it and when they grow a weird hostility to the audience. That's the point when they make an episode like this, to say all the things to their audience that they aren't reading on Twitter. I just roll my eyes at episodes like this, get over yourself, stop making the show, or at least say you're sick of making it. To just make a nonsense episode to postulate their frustrations is just so uninteresting. Accept the fact you've disappointed your audience and yourself and get over it. Because honestly, do you really not understand the note to do "classic adventures"? It means actually trying, like maybe continuing the vague overarching plot instead of making endless through away episodes, it's reminiscent of Teen Titans Go at this point.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Wigloose: The Rusical! (2023)
Why are we pretending this was good?
First of all, the cast did a good job with absolutely horrible material.
The music was bad, the "story" was bad, the staging was bad, the direction was bad, the concept was random, and having a bunch of them in half-baked boy drag was not interesting to look at. It was annoying and boring and just didn't captivate me even a little.
I don't understand why everyone hypes these abominations of performance challenges up when they were terrible and practically unwatchable. Where is the hive mind out there starting these lies?
If we keep acting like these are good we're going to keep getting this quality, or worse.
Also the judging was crazy.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Old Friends Gold (2023)
Another episode of tired old lady jokes
I'm so tired of drag race just rehashing the same boring joke formats because Rupaul has the sense of humor of a kindergartener. They really want us to sit through 3 terrible songs making all the same boring jokes about old ladies and saggy boobs and death. They really want us to sit through that and enjoy it, for the 20th time over however many seasons we've had, it's just not funny, and it seems desperate at this point. "oh no we're out of ideas what do we do!? I know! Sometimes people get old and that's hilarious because they look different and they're gonna die soon, lets make an entire episode like that."
American Horror Story: Something's Coming (2022)
Gone off so bad it's boring
Ryan Murphy productions have become incredibly predictable at this point. This season particularly comes off as a parody of everything Ryan has done prior. A bunch of conventionally attractive brown haired white muscle gays argue, have sex and get killed. It's just not interesting, he took the most boring aspect of his prior projects, milquetoast male side characters, and made them the focus of the entire show. Also I can't get past the fact that this episode in particular just feels like an exact copy of an episode of CSI or SVU, even down to the half assed careless paint-by-numbers writing. After the abysmal failure of the last season you'd think they would've tried harder than making a gay parody of a crime procedural.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
The CGI makeup
The cgi makeup is totally unacceptable. I can't believe this ever got approved, well I can, it was probably cheaper than having a make up team. It would've been worth it to have the real make up team, it really would've. This is quite literally unwatchable. It looks like you're watching one of those bad scammy app game commercials. It's just so smooth and awkward and unnatural looking, which is saying a lot when she's literally green. How is anyone expected to connect with the main character when they look like a imvu character, or a sim character or some nightmare abomination Zucc dreamed up for his pretentious roblox knock off. Also the acting is pretty rough.
American Horror Stories: Drive In (2021)
Another miss
You could've cut the entire middle section and not missed anything. This was so unforgivably boring until the very end. The twist was cool but it should've come so much earlier, nothing happens and then everything happens all at once. But this is also typical of Ryan Murphy trash, present a cool idea, then just ignore it and do a bunch of filler nonsense no one cares about, then remember you need to end it so you just do everything in a span of 5 minutes. So maybe Ryan should just be making like 10 minute short vignettes because he can't be trusted with a single episode or a whole season to get an idea across and keep it compelling and consistent.
American Horror Stories: Dollhouse (2022)
Ryan Murphy drives me crazy
I feel like he goes what if I had a great idea, but then I ruined it because I'm tacky? I thought he would do better in short form because the problem with AHS is he does too many storylines all at once and then just ignored 90% of them until the end. But apparently 1 episode isn't right either, this episode seemed so slow but also so fast, nothing happened and then it was over, just a lot of gratuitous death scenes so you have no one to root for in the end. However, I did laugh pretty hard when the White Chicks style mask jumpscare happened at the end, honestly that was the best part, I'm kinda obsessed.
Old (2021)
Terrible, M Night Shyamalan should be embarrassed
This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The acting is terrible, the writing is terrible, a bunch of horrific nonsense happens for no reason with no pay off. A lot of it feels inappropriate too, like this concept, which is the only thing the movie has going for it, could have been done so well and really looked at the process of aging but it just seems like someone got way too high and was like "woah dude wouldn't it be crazy if you got old fast? Like bro that would be so scary probably, also kids getting older, and then having sex because why not, that's not weird, right? Like it's not weird that they're still children regardless and totally don't understand it and then let's throw in a twist to make it a million times worse, that's cool right? RIGHT BRO?" M Night Shyamalan should probably be in prison after making this abomination.
Is It Cake? (2022)
This doesn't need to exist
This could just be a 5 minute YouTube video, actually no, you could achieve the whole show in about 15 seconds.

That Damn Michael Che (2021)
Nothing new
Just an out of touch man, living in the past, yelling at the sky and mad at the changing world.
Just an out of touch man, living in the past, yelling at the sky and mad at the changing world.
Brain Games (2011)
Shockingly sexist
This is the most vile piece of garbage I've ever seen. A show spewing sexist nonsense from 30+ year old studies. Just rudimentary dumbed down nonsense to the point of them straight up spreading dangerous misinformation. I haven't seen such a sexist piece of trash since The Man Show, they just pretend to be a game show so it seems less disgusting. Everyone involved in this should be ashamed of themselves, especially the "professionals".
RuPaul's Drag Race: Social Media: The Unverified Rusical (2021)
The Rusicals are the worst
I hate the Rusicals so much, they made like 2 good ones in the earlier seasons and now they're just desperately trying to catch that lightning in a bottle again and it's never gonna happen. But this was by far the worst one ever, just a terrible concept to begin with. Can we stop trying to use social media as a tool as a desperate attempt to relate to the youth? It never works, especially when it's coming from the perspective of a bunch of out of touch boomers, that's you Randy and Fenton.
RuPaul's Drag Race: The Daytona Wind (2022)
Hated it
The farting made this unwatchable, anyway, justice for Rock M Sakura.
I love how bothered everyone is by this, the bar is so low you'll laud anything as long as a review show or someone on Twitter tells you it was good, pathetic.
Funhouse (2019)
The worst movie I've ever seen
It's just damn near unwatchable, not even fun bad, just bad.
American Horror Stories: Game Over (2021)
It just keeps getting worse
This was hard to watch, not because of being scary or gross but because it was so embarrassing. Like I'm embarrassed for everyone involved in this. I'm still confused how this is going to have a second season. Why did they waste money on this when they could've used the money to make a season of AHS that isn't a bunch of good ideas with dead ended plot lines.
American Horror Stories: Feral (2021)
Don't waste your time
This was just an awful mess. The plot barely exists, the acting is atrocious, and I had to keep rewinding because major plot points are expressed in a matter of a second. The ending was incredibly unsatisfying and there really felt like there needed to be another scene. Also it's just super problematic to refer to people in the woods as ferals. It doesn't even make any sense, even if they're violent they aren't feral, they clearly have a community they've built, they even have their own language, like they just aren't feral.
RuPaul's Drag Race: The Pork Chop (2021)
So unforgivably boring
This is the worst first episode they've ever done. It was so boring and drawn out. You don't even get to know the new contestants, and the lip syncs were all mediocre at best.
