This episode of Rick and Morty really pushed the plot forward. The episode did a good job using a film technique that Alfred Hitchcock would use. "Meanwhile, back at the ranch." This technique is when you switch to different parallel stories when you reach the peak of one. I'm not a fan of B plots, but when it is done correctly it makes the story very entertaining.
Then end of this episode was the best plot twist I have seen in Rick and Morty and it was done extremely well. The scene was filled with so much anxiety. The mise en scène was very busy and it made me want to pause and look at everything. The last couple of frames you notice what happened.
Great episode! I hope the creators can top this one!
