Red Dot (2021)
Oh dear.
David is absolutely pathetic. Stupid place to pitch a tent. The main characters annoyed me so much! So they knocked down a kid, and just carried on?? Who does that. Also, hypothermia doesn't seem to be a thing in this film. Why were they half naked in a cabin at one point, and where did the stethoscope come from? Maybe I missed something lol.
It's a half decent plot, but so many flaws. Does the father of the boy not take any responsibility for what happened? He obviously knew the terrain and road so why fly the drone that way and allow his son to follow? 🤔 Just stupid.
Anyway, not terrible but not great either. It's okay, if you can put up with pathetic David.
A Closed Book (2009)
Wow!
Found this by accident. Always had a soft spot for Tom Conti as I am also from Paisley Scotland and two of my children were born there.
I didn't know what to expect from this but I really enjoyed it and wondered all throughout what her real intentions were, it ramps up nicely and I certainly didn't see the twist(s) coming.
I pitied Sir Paul until the very end and he revealed the truth about his' accident ' which led to his blindness, was not something I saw coming.
Mind you, when I cast my mind back to their discussion about relationships/sexual orientation I suppose it makes sense.
Good film and I may look out for the book now.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Beneath the Surface (2018)
Come back Abbey
I agree with others here, I cannot stand Abbey's replacement. I've lost a lot of interest in this show what with Tony and Abbey leaving and Ducky rarely on now.
The Five (2016)
Well worth a watch
Just finished The Five. Ending had me in tears. Can be a bit confusing at times, but everything comes together in the end.
The Book of Henry (2017)
Made me cry
Henry is only a few months older than my youngest son, I made me very emotional. This film is an wee gem.
