How do I begin to tell the story of how truly awful COBRA is?
Every story line is written as if world war 3. In my recollection, nothing like any of these story lines have occurred in the UK since Oliver Cromwell's time.
The writing is absolutely horrific. NO ONE speaks like these cliche character tropes, and the dialogue is just one cringe after another. How does anyone know how to write such wooden, awful characters so consistently?! The writing on American daytime dramas of the 1960s was of higher quality than this!
It's difficult to truly blame the actors for the program, given the garbage they're required to deliver, but I still think everyone is just another trope.
So much of UK television is really thoughtful and real. This is terrible.
