Justified: City Primeval (2023)
It's BACK With a Vengeance.
Magnificent in every way. Timothy still has it. The show is just as great or even better than the original. This is a combination of funny, dramatic, serious, violent, and full of action. Acting was exceptional. As usual the cast was well chosen. Storyline is perfect and the writers were right on the money. So as not to give up any spoilers I would just suggest that viewers research the show for interesting information. If I could find fault with anything, I'd say it could have been three hours long. You just don't get tired of watching. When you can't wait for the next episode it has to be good, right?
Blue Bloods: Hard Bargain (2017)
Steven Bauer... What a lousy actor!
Steven Bauer... What a lousy actor! Why does such a great show feel the need to bring in washed up no account actors to fill space. That has to be the reason since they, aside from offering no value to the show, can't act. They are grandstanding under the guise of resurrecting their non existent career. That along with letting a teenager ride along on one of the most dangerous police calls, a domestic, is totally irresponsible. Add that to Danny's useless brother in law endangering his family's life makes this episode one of their worst. Finally defending Nicci's unrealistic views of the world just makes one wonder if the writers were on strike.
Fire Country (2022)
Could be better...
Given that Max Thierio is in it, I expected a lot more. There is too much personal family stuff and love stories in it. The action is missing. Max's input from criminal days helps but more is required if the show is going to last. And please get his mom out of it. Really? First off she'd be fired. Second a guy who lived through prison isn't going to let her coddle him in front of others. Silly! Also there isn't enough fire fighting. Let's see the training and fire knowhow. Things like what starts fires, how to determine the source, etc. What about the equipment? Not much offered there either. The show has some growing to do.
REVISED: Getting better.
The Rookie: Feds (2022)
Reaching For Too Much!
Start with a draw, in this case, Niecy Nash, James Lesure, and Felix Solis. Then play the storyline out. And for goodness sake, put Eric Roberts back in his cave. And don't try to copy the old Criminal Minds. We don't need an eye candy profiler and a radical daddy. Adding the kitchen sink doesn't make a good story. Niecy Nash does a good job pulling off her character. Let her do that. The rest of the nonsense can go away. The Rookie players did their part. Now send them home. Put more thought in good deep stories. Make the audience work for it. Don't be so predictable. Get more involvement by the agents into people's lives. Maybe then you'll have a great show.
SEAL Team: One Life to Live (2021)
One of the best episodes.
Americans, especially the ones like me that never served, what sacrifices our troops make to protect us. This episode and the actors in it did a phenomenal job portraying these heroes.
Bull: The Envelope, Please (2022)
Please Is Right!
What a stupid episode. Recapping previous episodes? What, couldn't think if viable story line? A guy that handles multi-million dollar legal cases got lost in time? Maybe Tim to retire??
The Blacklist: The Bear Mask (2022)
How Stupid!
What a stupid episode! Approaching insanity. Are they running out of story lines or what? Can anyone say Outer Limits? Not worth wasting time on. Acid trips? Really?
Law & Order (1990)
Great Come Back.
Anthony Anderson & Jeffrey Donavan are great together. The best of L&O shows. Bringing back so many of the past regulars is genius. I'll keep watching as long they don't over-W. O. K. E it.
REVISION: Anthony Anderson is now gone from L&O. As I surmised W. O. K. E. made people tired quickly. Of course he says it was "to pursue other avenues" but I'm not buying it.
The Rookie: Real Crime (2022)
What a stupid episode!
The show is already suckling air. Why make things worse? Does the audience really want to watch the cast sit and talk about a reality show? Please! The story line is already low rent so let's imortaliz it. Unbelievable.
FBI: Most Wanted (2020)
Must be getting paid by left liberal Hollywood.
The show should be called FBI Most Unwanted! Continually sending left propaganda. Unrealistic and falsifying. Waste of time. All the criminals are wrongly accused, misunderstood, and onverly prosecuted with a litany of mitigating circumstances. Being able to talk down a criminal every single episode is fiction at it's best. Should have kept the original writing when Jess blew them away.
The Blacklist: Between Sleep and Awake (2022)
Are you trying to ruin a good show.
What a terrible episode. I could talk about it for a long time, but suffice to say, everything that should have happened, didn't. Everything that shouldn't have happened, did. Unless there is more to come, it failed miserably.
CSI: Vegas (2021)
Cheesey. Not the old CSI
Living off the old CSI reputation. Too cheesey. New actors don't have the same luster. When they finally wean Will, Jorja & Paul out, the show will die. And what's this Hodges...now you see him now you don't? The rest of the cast are always looking for a motel room and making eyes at each other. Silly!
FBI: Most Wanted: Tough Love (2021)
Shame on Hollywood.
They could do a show about one crooked judge, but no...it has to be a corrupt system. There's nothing wrong with zero tolerance, but this judge was a bad apple. Does that mean he committed a crime? Yes. Does it mean that Hollywood has to infuse their whole W. O. K. E. philosophy into the episode. No! It's getting old real quick.
FBI: International (2021)
Lame!
A lot of nothing, poor writing, acting too cheesy.
Animal Kingdom (2016)
Don't screw it up!
Fantastic show, but like most of Hollywood, they run the risk of screwing it up. If it isn't infusing the W. O. K. E culture, it's bringing in new people that either don't fit or can't act, or ruining the story line, or somethingelse. So I'm saying...for once, don't screw it up! Oh wait! They found a way. Season 6 is the end. Of course it is...Hollywood right on track.
NCIS: Hawai'i (2021)
Fire them all!
Come on Mark...you can do better. Fire the Eye Candy cast, fire the writers, fire the casting department. Didn't even know what I was watching for the first 20 minutes. "Let's go talk to Boom Boom"? Please. Sorry, but whole show is a loser.
Shots Fired (2017)
Slanted documenaries
Kid shot a lot of times, ok. Made it sound like he was good kid that just made a few mistakes. HE WAS A LIFE LONG CRIMINAL! Of course Chicago is so well run that we are supposed to believe anything...NOT!
The Blacklist: Konets (2021)
Fitting ending.
I've been somewhat critical in the past year and news that Boone was leaving was no surprise, but what a way to go. I judge actors mostly based on could someone else do just as good a job. Spader is irreplaceable, but a lot of people could replace Boone. That said, I have to admit she did a decent job in her final appearance. Can't wait for next season.
FBI (2018)
More spin from Stupid Hollywood
What a dumb show. Same ole same ole! Wake up writers. You can't talk people down in "every" situation. Criminals, for the most part, do not have a conscience. Maggie is supposed to put a tracker on a pick up truck. So she sneaks up and can't get the tracker to stick. Must have skipped the motor vehicle class in FBI training school. So she's known this guy, a malitia type, for a couple weeks and the guy decides to trust her after she reveals she's FBI. Please!
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Sightless in a Savage Land (2021)
Finally got back to writing, producing, acting.
This show is known as a message sender. That in itself is not always bad, but it shouldn't be the total focus of the show. That's the direction it's been going for some time now. Finally with this episode a good balance took place. Message, subject matter, writing, acting, and personal feeling. Keep it up.
Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021)
More Political Junk!
Shame on you Chris Meloni for wasting your time with this garbage even if Mariska is your friend. Dylan McDermot was washed up years ago. The rest of the wannabe never will be so called actors are c-d class.. The plot was too jumbled. The political WOKEness is coming out of every corner. Too many surprises. The whole "new dawn" message they are trying to send is bordering on silly. Doubt if it makes the whole season unless Mariska bankrolls it.
Bulletproof (2018)
Teach Hollywood How To Make Shows Like This
Well written. Lots of action. Likable stars. Great stories. A definite 10!
Blue Bloods: For Whom the Bell Tolls (2021)
And Another One
Are there any people in TV land that aren't cowards? WOKE has hit Blue Bloods as well. Why is it that when a show is flying high, doing well, gratifying to watch, they have bring in a character that is there to upset the apple cart? To make viewers mad. Why can't we just watch a show for simple and enjoyable entertainment? Specifically the new DA openly admits she got her job partially based on race. And then not only flaunts it, but uses it to flex her muscles. It's bad enough that the people we elect are above the law and cheat at every corner without repercussion, but we now have it in fantasy entertainment world as well. Sad!
Chicago P.D.: Impossible Dream (2021)
Another good show down the tube.
Everything is about race...NO IT'S NOT! Asking Voight to "bring up a new Intelligence". Every other sentence is about police vs black community. It all boils down to people who live in a high crime community think they shouldn't be stopped or questioned. If you're in the open door you could just as easily be a criminal as not so what are police supposed to do...let them go? Being poor doesn't give you a pass. Oh and by the way this doesn't just apply to black communities. "Anyone" that looks suspicious for any reason deserves to be checked out. It's not all about race!
The Rookie (2018)
Getting Worse
Ok you're giving me a headache. Get rid of that stupid Skip Tracer Randy.
