Howl (I) (2015)

An enjoyable addition to the big hairy puppy people genre
20 October 2015
There is some development for story line and character purposes that is slightly painful to get through but it is not as excruciating as certain ritalin addicts would have u believe. The irritable characters r truly annoying and u really enjoy the scenes when they die horribly. I particularly enjoyed the death of the pre period mouth piece, although it is quite a 180 from the seasoning house.

The ticketmaster plodded along and kept everyone in line until the time came to take command which he managed to do admirably. The creatures were very well done, not as good as underworld but better then crap like wolfcop or the ewok looking fuzzies from wolves. I am not sure where all the hate is coming from but this was a decent horror film sure it was no American werewolf in London but it still entertaining for the hounds out there, British included.

Not the worst movie but editing would have helped

Brook butler is no Scarlett Johansson but having her in any film gives it an automatic extra 2 stars for me. That being said the film could use some serious editing and did they ever drop the ball with buddy in the can. That had the potential for comedic genius material of the year award. We do the best we can with limited budgets and some scenes with missing body parts were not that bad. Over the top, like can anybody that stupid, and why r u not running the other way when your buddy so considerately sacrificed his life for u. These r the reasons we watch these b-movies in the first place. Really we have all seen way worse from full moon studios so quit your bitching. So unlike let us prey which started out as a masterpiece right from the opening credits then fell apart at the end, this movie is not the worst movie ever made, that honor belongs to mars attacks.

promises but no delivery

Pacing is so important and this movie needed to turn it up at least 3 levels. so this thing kills everything and lets the sheriff live not once twice but three times, must smell bad or something. Cgi could have been way better, just some advice if u cant afford it don't use it. Churches with huge windows r not defendable, what am i the only one with a future steel building in my backyard. When people are killed some sort of fish and wildlife show up don't they? I like a little realism in my fantasy horror movies it helps with the this could actually happen factor. Kevin is a great actor, his character on the strain is exceptional. 6/10

Mean yes, maybe a little but this movie had potential if it had an actress that could actually move when the action is happening. From her sad ass whimpering to her heroin addict looking legs it almost made watching every scene she was in more painful then the girl under the tractor. Really when she jumped off the cattle ramp i thought she was going to break both her legs and was that shot in slow motion because it looked realllly slow to me. besides her i thought this was a decent hill billy slasher, its no wrong turn mind you, but it is enjoyable. i would have given it a solid 5 but the addition of maybe i should invest in a tread climber brings the score down to 4.
