The Office: Niagara: Part 2 (2009)
Reminded me of the Modern Family Wedding
As beautiful as the modern family wedding. I was utterly moved by how beautiful this episode was. The dances, wet eyes moments and so on. This is the build up I've been prepared for. For multiple seasons now. And there is still so much to come I guess. I can't wait to keep watching the office. As I am writing this, I am afraid that there is no other show like this. But I realize, that this uniqueness is what the office defines. It would be boring if there is a similar show. I am glad that I find many diverse media, among them sitcoms such as modern family and the office. I know the moment will come, when I finally watch the final episode of the office, but everything has an end and remains as a memory.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part III (2022)
Down-to-Earth Star Wars
This episode was really a pleasure to watch. Encountering Vader, Obi-Wan doesn't heroically attacks him straightaways, but seeks for an escape. There are a few frames of this episode that really do look splendid. This first encounter, which is probably the biggest reunion, so to say, in all Star Wars, wasn't made epic, bombastic and loud. I thought it to be more of a authentic first fight between the old friends and now enemies.
I don't know if this makes sense, but this is what i thought watching episode 3 of Kenobi.
Death Note: Desu nôto: Chinmoku (2007)
Perfect
One of the best episodes of the entire season. Despite I already knew what was going to happen due to the Death Note mangas I read, it was nevertheless an intense episode. Particularly because they added the rain scene which made the farewell of L even more sad and dramatic. Perfect.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: A Distant Echo (2020)
Atmosphere!
I love the gloomy, dreadful atmosphere and also the chemistry between Anakin and Rex was pretty good. The end of episode 2 was also quite shocking and horrific.
Preacher: Pilot (2016)
Pretty good
I read the first 7 issues of the comic and plan to read and watch simultaneously. Although both differ and the pilot is not what I expected (Why did they make tulip black?), I liked it. They got me to continue watching.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Bad Batch (2020)
Worth the wait
I have hesitated too long for this and now I finally watched it. And man, that was splendid. Atmosphere, animation, characters. I had watched Bad Batch before I started the first episode of the final season of clone wars.
I am extremely hyped for the upcoming episodes, despite my unfortunate knowledge about what is coming. Hopefully there are still a few surprises.
Star Wars Rebels: Stealth Strike (2015)
Killing an entire ship makes them cheer?
Although I liked that Rex and Kanan joined forces, I think the episode consists of nothing but stupid writing. They eliminate the entire ship with probably thousands of human beings who indeed serve the military but they were enlisted without a choice.
And all they have got as a reaction is to be jubilant about this? Dude, they all lack conscience. The producers must have thought about this and they ignore it? It doesn't make the show darker but the protagonist unsympathetic. In general, every encounter with stormtroopers bore me.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Replacements (2021)
Dark and mature Star Wars
Wow! Didn't expect the Bad Batch to be this dreadful. I really like the direction the series is heading towards.
Star Wars Rebels: Fire Across the Galaxy (2015)
The show improves
Rebels has been okay so far. I know it's for children and I should not expect extreme darkness. But the season final was pretty good. For the upcoming seasons a hope for more seriousness and less silliness. According to what I have heard, the show certainly does become better.
I knew that Ashoka would occur at some point in time in the show, but i was really surprised when she had her appearance in this episode. I like it. Hopefully, Vader will also occupy an important role.
I stay tuned.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Aftermath (2021)
Disney once again mastered Star Wars
Well done! Bad batch captivated me and I am looking forward to watch all the upcoming episodes with great pleasure. The animations have become ingenious, particularly in comparison to the early seasons of Clone Wars, whose final season I haven't even watched yet. I hesitate to do so. There is so much more Star Wars content to watch, e.g Rebels. So many story arcs I haven't explored yet.
9/10, cause I am a bit uncertain about Omega and her role as a young child with pride. Nonetheless it was an amazing experience.
Invincible: Where I Really Come From (2021)
Flawless
Well, this was pretty much an overkill. Way more cataclysmic than the fight in the comic. 10/10, can't wait for season two!
Invincible: We Need to Talk (2021)
Masterpiece
This episode is freaking insane. Difficult for the final episode to exceed this absolute masterpiece. Plenty of dramatic action was simultaneously going on, everyone trying to beat the crap out of Omni Man. 10/10.
Invincible: That Actually Hurt (2021)
Absolutely amazing
In comparison to the comic, the fight at Machine Head's tower was ten times better!! But both the comic and show are so entertaining. Love to read and watch simultaneously. Invincible approaches to be one of my favourite tv shows/comics.
Modern Family: White Christmas (2015)
White Christmas
Episode 9 of the seventh season is splendid. The "The Shining" reference is glorious, setting and its creating comfort gives the episode more atmosphere. Andy and Haley being caught was hilarious and the tense situation with Beth's arrival the icing on the cake.
Love it! Season 7 has a variety of superb episodes so far. Looking forward to more!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 3: The Sin (2019)
Difficult to enjoy
Rewatch:
I think I am in a minority with my opinion, but this episode was barely enjoyable for me. I can not have pleasure watching innocent people brutally slaughtered, particularly stormtroopers. Aren't they forced to serve in the empire? They seem helpless and don't have any chance against mando. Hence, tension lacks and the fights with the stormtrooper are always the same.
Nevertheless, action is good and music superb. Costumes great as well.
Modern Family: Crying Out Loud (2015)
Splendid
Claires acting was superb. A lot of funny moments also given. Very good episode, had a lot of fun!
Modern Family: Connection Lost (2015)
One of the best episodes of the entire show!
This episode is really unique. Concept of screen-sharing has been implemented amazingly. Superb episode with a lot to laugh about!
Modern Family: The Wedding, Part 2 (2014)
I was weeping buckets
Ever since I started watching Modern Family, I really got into the characters and learned to love and admire them. The two final episode of season 5 are splendid.
Never have I been so deeply touched by an episode like this. I literally cried during the wedding scene. Despite the many imperfections of the wedding, it was nevertheless the best possible version.
I am looking forward watching the next season. So sad that there will be an end.
The Legend of Korra: Remembrances (2014)
No progress for season 4 , but still fun to watch.
I honestly didn't expect that. Moreover, i didn't feel the need to have a recap, because I am watching this show within 2 months. But for others it might be very important.
Although there is one episode kind of "wasted", I nevertheless had pleasure watching this. Nice to remember what happened all before, so it becomes more emotional.
I am really hoping to see Amon again, even if it's very unlikely. I am just looking forward for him.
The Legend of Korra: Enemy at the Gates (2014)
I had tears in my eyes!
Wonderful episode. The plot is developing into a really good direction and I am keen to see how the outcome will look like.
I literally had tears in my eyes when Asami encountered her father! This scene was so emotional and I have been waiting so long to see the reunion. Lovely.
I like how Bolin, Varrick and Zhu Li joined forces in order escape from Kuvira's regime. Unfortunately, it failed and Zhu Li went over to Kuvira, but I think it's just pretended.
All in all a fantastic episode! Sad that there are only a few left.
Sword Art Online: The End of the World (2012)
Best episode so far!
That was certainly an unexpected episode. I am watching this anime with the seek to know how it ends. And I have absolutely no clue how the upcoming episodes will continue with this end. I thought the escape to reality would be in the final season but no, it already happened. I would have never expected it to be so early.
The Legend of Korra: Venom of the Red Lotus (2014)
Waste of antagonist
I'm trying to be as honest as I can.
I want to put the main focus on the cons of this finale episode of season three, because I surely appreciate how superb and splendid this show is, but i was a bit disappointed.
Nevertheless, the fighting scenes are incredible and absolutely captivating. It became very emotional at the end and I was surprised that Jinora shaved her head. Seems kinda radical to me. Also how the venom injures Korra temporarily is a good consequence and makes her more vulnerable. I like that roughness.
BUT
Heres are the reasons why I was disappointed:
Zaheer was made fun of. I think since Amon, LOK hasn't had a worthy antagonist which encounters Korra. Until this episode it was crystal clear to me that Zaheer would be a worthy antagonist. But no, he wasn't treated with respect by the show-runners. Additionally, the other three members of the red lotus were easily defeated. Moreover there is one Deus Ex Machina with Mako that hasn't had to be. Hopefully, season four will be better considering this unfortunate weakness.
Despite this rather weaker episode for me, season three was nevertheless awesome and I truly enjoyed it!
The Legend of Korra: The Ultimatum (2014)
Harsh & tough episode! Splendid!
The fight at the end is superb! Beyond harmlessness - and child friendliness! This roughness is what I want. I'm really curious what is behind Zaheer's intention. All four antagonists are interesting and capable of performing tremendous fights. I love the characters and how they are written. After season one I thought that the upcoming seasons wont be approximately phenomenal as the first one. But despite the rather weaker season two (still superb), book three is just absolutely flashing! I can't get enough of this show!
The Legend of Korra: Skeletons in the Closet (2012)
Captivating
The background history of Amon and his brother is absolutely stunning and sad. My attention was utterly captivated by the episode. Great show !!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Landing at Point Rain (2009)
Despite good war episode, i feel sorry for the Geonisians
As a child I became used to it that the Jedi slaughtered random enemies, particularly living beings. But now I realise more and more how cruel the Star Wars war actually is. Those poor geonosians ;( killed like flies
Nevertheless good action and a nice gathering of Jedi
