I like Waititi, but, like with T3, he has too much humor for a story that should be serious.
The jokes were good, but took away from the seriousness of the situation the characters were in.
Jamie Alexander's return as Lady Sif was drastically underwhelming.
Horrible acting from everyone for the majority of the film, but it did get better in thr second half. Most of the film felt like a mockery to good acting, and the only time the bad acting made sense was the Asgardian Theater scene.
Which, New Asgard being made into a tourist trap was pathetic to watch, talk about becoming sell outs.
The two strongest points of the film were Jane's story line and that of the villian, The God Butcher.
I'm interested to see where they take the daughters story, because as it stands, the ending makes no sense.
Definitely the weakest MCU film. I really dislike that they've let a character with such rich background and development become a joke.
