A Movie So Horrible I Actually Liked It
2 September 2006
This movie is not for everyone. Only those who enjoy really bad cinema will be able to extract enjoyment from this piece of excrement. The film has the appearance of something a couple of high school kids would do and then submit on youtube. The special effects are so awful that they are ridiculous. The blood is pink and foamy, looking much like a strawberry milkshake. That being said, the dubbing was hilarious. A white German guy that suppose to be a doctor of some type is dubbed to sound like a black guy using ebonics. His friend is dubbed to sound like a cheap imitation of Paul Lynde. A funny part is when the guy goes into the woods to "take a dump" with a pistol in hand. Another part is where the guy meets a zombie he thinks is Jimi Hendrix at the end. Really, really stupid! If you are in search of possibly the worst film ever made, this will certainly be on the short list.

Kind of a disappointment
18 August 2006
I had heard great things about this movie. While I enjoyed the ending, I found the rest of the movie to be disappointing. The movie had good actors (particularly Albertson as the mortician) but it just seemed slow in many areas. Also, I disagree about the atmosphere of the film. There was very little atmosphere in the film. For example, compare this to the original "The Fog". That movie had atmosphere. Even more so, the DVD print by Blue Underground was not that great. It was grainy in some areas and very dark in others. No matter what people tell you, this is still just another horror B-movie from the 1980s. It just happens to have a good cast unlike most.

Hilarious Horror Film
18 August 2006
This film is great. Dog lovers should get a kick out of this movie. Seeing Zoltan lick his chops after biting both humans and fellow dogs is worth a chuckle or two. The Reinfeld-type character is probably the ugliest human being I have ever seen. Michael Pataki, seen in many more horror films such as "Grave of the Vampire" puts in another B-movie "performance." Jose Ferrer is simply there to pick up a paycheck. The dog that plays Zoltan is the second best actor in the movie. Overall, if you don't expect too much you won't be let down. Definitely a gem in the "so bad it is good" genre. Check it out while downing a few beers. You might enjoy it.
