Berlín: La última virgen de occidente (2023)
Some things make no sense
This series, supposed to be about a magnificent heist, has made a turn into a soap opera. At first, Berlin was attracted by Camille. We all thought it was an strategy related to the robbery. But no, we are all now watching if she goes or not with him or if she leaves her husband.
On the other side, the rest of the characters are conveniently coupled, Roi with Cameron and Bruce with Keila. But... the poor suffering Damian who was abandoned by his wife has nobody around him. He was supposed to be a genius who has no time for love. Until he finds a woman who makes him forget about Carmen, his ex wife.
Now they are all talking about love, sex attraction, grieving, while the french and spanish police go behind their feet.
Those turns are extremely boring because they have nothing to do with the main plot and make no sense. If they wanted a love story (or many) they should have made a soap opera and now everyone would be into tears.
This Is Us: The Waiting Room (2019)
Wait for the last 6-7 minutes
This episode may seem boring or some kind of repetitive speech. Ok, not adding anything but out of point conversations inside Pearsons family.
Everything changes at the end, it becomes touchy, sensitive, deeply intriguing. You will lose more than a tear, I can assure that to you.
That's why my rate is 8, nothing happens until the end.
Outlander: The Ballad of Roger Mac (2020)
Superb! Brilliant!
This episode is by far the best of this fifth season.
Breathtaking, emotionally intense and with a great acting.
Everyone is perfect at this episode.
Outlander resumes its intensity. This series doesn't disappoint us, although sometimes you can feel the plot is going nowhere. It always has a surprise, a twist, a scene that will remain in our records.
Expect everything in this episode S05E07.
Ray Donovan: A Good Man Is Hard to Find (2019)
No Mickey, no Ray
Ray is undoubtably the star of this show, but losing Mickey it would be a non sense.
Every star needs an opposite, and Mickey is the one. Above all, Liev Schreiber is a great actor but Jon Voight performance in this series is a great gig.
Ray hates and loves his father with the same intensity. He is the only one of the 4 boys who deeply mourns him. He wasn't prepared for this loss.
Last scene shows that he cannot accept being foolished (once again) by his own father.
Please authors, don't let Mickey go.
The Walking Dead: We Are the End of the World (2019)
Boring filler episode
This show used to be enjoyable during the first seasons. I keep watching more for fidelity reasons than for really enjoying it.
This show should have ended long before Rick's and Maggie's disappearances. Now is a bunch of ridiculous and nonsense situations.
Episode 2 of season 10 might be the worst of the entire show history. Describes Alpha and Beta meet for the first time 7 years ago but this doesn't add any turn nor reveals anything important to the current story.
It's a waste of time, you won't lose anything if you skip it.
