Greenland (2020)
Not that bad!
This is probably the most realistic asteroid/extinction film of them all. The story is believable and no really dumb decisions are made just to set up scenarios. The CGI is pretty good too.
I found it quite entertaining, and like some other reviewers have said, makes you forget about covid for 2 hrs :-)
Ignore the 1 star reviews and give it a go if extinction is your thing.
A Perfect Planet (2021)
Quality as always
National treasure Attenborough doing what he does best.
I can forgive him the very small amount of lecturing.
The Capture (2019)
Does this actually happen?
Wow. Great story, acting, direction etc. Well done BBC.
This will make you wonder whether this is really going on!
Normal People (2020)
Wow
Never before have I seen such a beautifully written, directed, acted and filmed piece of tv. The chemistry between the main actors is amazing. The cinematography is amazing. The dialog is possibly the most natural I've ever seen.
Although at its heart it's quite a simple story of young love, it actually stayed with me long after I finished watching the last episode. This is probably down to having gone through similar experiences when I was young.
If you're after some mega-bucks hollywood blockbuster this probably isn't for you. However, if you want your heart to be touched and to be taken back to your teenage years then this is a must watch.
Ignore the critics - young people do make lots of mistakes with love.
The Expanse (2015)
Best sci-fi Ive ever seen on a tv
Slow couple of first episodes but takes off after that.
Chernobyl (2019)
Haunting
This will stay with you for a good while after watching. Amazing piece of tv production.
