I heard this story years ago, but only just now finished watching the movie. The end had me crying. It is extremely sad. Although he obviously was not at all prepared for what he was going to face, it is still a tragedy. Definitely not a movie to watch with small children as there is some nudity more than I would have expected. Christopher appears to be a good hearted person. He probably could've accomplished a lot of good in his life. He died way too young. Even though apparently his family life was not the best. I'm sure they were all traumatized by what happened. Longer than I expected, but worth a watch.

It's not unusual for the ugliest house, not to be chosen. I can only imagine that's because it would take a whole lot more than $150,000 to redo those homes. So I kind of feel bad for the owners of the really ugly homes, but then again, nobody forced them to buy those places, so they kind of did it to themselves. I would love to hear the stories of the people who actually designed those homes to be so ugly. Of course, they would probably be too embarrassed to go on TV. It might be interesting down the road to have episodes showing how the houses that weren't picked might have been updated.

I've said for a while that the best murder mysteries come from Australia New Zealand the the UK. No I'm going to add South Africa to the list! Scenery is beautiful, makes me want to visit that region. I could not figure out who the murderer was until they were exposed. So often you have a pretty good idea who it was, but not this time. I thought the newspaper editor was going to be a monster but in the end she was not. There were so many people who seemed like likely suspects. It actually brought tears to my eyes when they found Jesse towards the end. I know it's going to take way too long for season two, but I want to find out why sister-in-law has come from Scotland.

I very much enjoyed this. It really is nice to see the main characters builder for a change. Personally I would love to see one of the movies with the woman playing the grandmother as the main star. She always puts a smile on my face!

Too bad, it apparently only aired for one season. I wish they were more! It's interesting how difficult it can be to match the house to the correct person. Five strangers meeting for the first time trying to figure out which house belongs to which person. Lots of funny comments from the participants.

The majority of us watch these movies because they have happy endings, in this movie is no different in that respect. But it's pretty funny parts parts and I like that there were actually three different love stories going on. One of my favorite Hallmark movies ever.

I really wanted to like this, but found it to be crude and not at all funny. The laugh track was really bad too. If that wasn't a laugh track and instead was a live audience, they must have been watching a different show than I was!
It seemed like they were swearing just because they could. A word here and there is OK, but geez, how many times did they use the F word?!
I would have thought Sam Elliott and Ashton Kutcher would have demanded better scripts.
They should go back to the drawing board with this one.
