Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
best directors cut ever
Producers cut 6/10
directors cut 10/10
In a world of producers vs artists this is a clear example of how polotics ruins everything.
The Lobster (2015)
Get real people. This movie sucks.
First and foremost this movie is not funny. The fact that all the critics are raving about it is ridiculous and silly. It's like none of them want to admit they didn't like it because it is supposed to be all artistic and great or something.
The movie could not have been worse. Not a single funny moment in the entire film. About as funny as cardboard and just about as colorful.
There are not deeper meanings in the movie. It does not hint at human themes or reveal any sort of truths. It is simply a series of very boring and stupid scenes collected together until finally it ends.
If you watch it and think, "what the heck is this, I must be missing something". Do not worry. You did not miss anything, the movie is like a bad joke on the viewer.
The Lobster is a looser and that is the truth.
This may be the only honest and real review you ever read about this horrible movie.
Vexed (2010)
I was looking for some light hearted fun between two lead characters.
The energy between the two characters was nice and set the stage for some fun dialog. The problems is the show promotes violence between domestic partners as perfectly OK. At a minimum domestic violence is simply not a very good comedic device.
For example in the very first episode Lucy Punch commits blatant physical domestic abuse and battery against her husband. She literately breaks bones and keeps him on the ground as she beats him with a weapon as a way of dealing with her unfounded suspicion that he was sleeping with another woman. He wasn't not that it matters whatsoever, but that was used as legitimate justification for her beating him.
"I am sorry that I hit him, but I would like Dan to acknowledge that we had been having problems." Does she go to treatment for her violent behavior? No! In episode two they go to couples counseling as if BOTH have issues to work on. What kind of message is being put out here? Violence, as long as it is the woman, is a really good way to work on relationship issues.
great
ExTerminators (2009)
very transparent misandry
The movie is a simple setup to introduce and reinforce social hatred of men. The characters in the movie are designed to mis-characterize males as abusive and stupid. The women characters are narrow and used to communicate that women are victims and should hate men as all men are bad.
The hatred of males is manifested in not only social behavior, but by mis-characterizing men as abusive and deserving of total hatred. This is used to justify murder of men for no other reason than being male.
Promotion of blind sexist hatred is not healthy and not funny.
Suzanne Weinert and those that support Hollywood produced hate speech should be fired and her work routinely ignored or even banned for the hate speech it is.
Hate speech is not art.
