Weyland Yutani = Alien Remake
1 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, coming from a massive Alien predator fan, this film is 10 / 10 for action sequences and explosions and gore scenes. Storyline is somewhat another matter, it carry's on straight from the first film AVP, but it ties in the time line that consists of Predator 1 and 2, but not the Alien saga.

At the end of AVPR the colonel handed over the predators gun to a lady called Miss YUTANI, who combined with Bishop Weyland, gives you the Company WEYLAND YUNTANI which is in Aliens, Ali3n and Alien Resurrection, the company that owns LV - 426 in aliens. AVPR Explains who Yutani is, cause in Aliens you don't know much about it apart from they have contract under the military.

With AVPR Ending as it did, Hollwood could to take up on itself to remake Alien, which in someway can carry on from AVPR and connect all Alien and Predator films all in 1 exciting saga.

A nice powerful drama based on a true story of conspiracy and corruption within the united states marine core.

With Outstanding Performances from Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise, and Yes Demi Moore as well. The plot develops, and the conspiracy surrounding the case becomes apparent. And its up to Cruise to lay his career on the line to find the truth.

Its good when cruise gets Nicholson wound up and he admits it and there's just shock for 1 minute then cruise dismisses the jury and requests a court martial or something like that.

Nicolson says " I'm going to rip the eyes out of your head and p!$$ in your dead skull, you fu(ked with the wrong marine".

Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade was, in my opinion, the best movie of the Indiana Jones trilogy.

This movie featured the same type of humour we have become accustomed to from Jones, as well as another beautiful woman (also probably the best Indy girl) and lots of great action scenes.

The music that kicks in when the Holy grail is mentioned always makes my skin go goosebumps. The 1 thing that ticked me off is that Nazi general fighting Indy on the tank towards the end, he's a right pain in the szcn'hal.

No camels! I have to Indy to replace my brothers car, that just got blown up.

Just outrageous and excellent.A great sci-fi spoof with catchy one-liners, and a great cast.

The soundtrack is great, and has a cheesy ring to it, but its great and catchy. When i saw it in HMV i thought erm that looks good, i'd buy it, i thought i wasn't going to enjoy it, but i did, It had me in stitches, and i could watch it over and over.

There are many funny scenes in Galaxy Quest.

1st Scene : Is where the aliens in human form come to the commanders house to pick him up in his limo and they are knocking on his window and he answers the door just wearing a shirt and the aliens turn there heads to figure out what it is hanging between his legs.

2nd Scene : Where they are all on the ship and the commander orders Lucio to take the ship out and its go's out the air lock and it starts to scratch the side of the ship and the noise irritates them and they are tilting there heads.

Final scene i like is where they are on the planet looking for a dilithium sphere and see the cute little aliens that look like children, and when they see the injured one and the others go to help it, the crew think awwww, until they eat him and rip him to shreds.

The kid in the film who helps the commander out with the schematics etc is also in jeepers creepers.

Copycat
5 July 2005
I enjoy all films with sigourney weaver in them, but this one catched my eye. It is a massive change to her role in earlier films, like aliens, ghostbusters etc.

The suspense is killer and i liked the way they talked all about ex serial killers and how a copycat killer is reenacting them in the same order and its down to Sigourney and her 2 cop friends to catch the killer before its too late.

The scene where Sigourney is hanged up in the toilet cubicle and spits in the copycats face, which really ticked him off and you feel like its real just for a second and he's actually going to kill her.

When she's free and shes scuffling with him on the floor she grabs a can of cleaning substances and sprays it in his eyes "Ouch".

Another sick scene where she gets into bed and there's a few ants at first crawling on her then gets up and hears them making a noise and lifts the mattress off and finds one of her books she's published with a severed thumb as a bookmark on one page where she nearly got killed a few years ago.

One of the classic suspense films of the early 90's.

Hello Clarice!
4 July 2005
This film is the Grandaddy of all suspense and thriller films of all time!

This film has its moments but i really enjoyed it, and how buffalo bill skins his victims and wear them like decoration and ponce around like a women. That scene was sick but it was great.

Dr Lector's entrance to the film is really creepy, as Clarice progresses down the prison hallway the camera exposes him standing in the middle of the room silently as if he'd been waiting for an eternity. When Dr.lector is caged and the 2 police officers bring him some dinner and he escapes and when found by the police the 1 guard is opened up like he's on show, exposing all the major organs.

"I can smell your c*nts", that was a icky scene where he cums on her face, nice, but not for jodie foster i'd reckon.

This is a classic film with the most famous cannibal in cinema history. Enjoy!

I first saw this film in 1993 and thought the graboids were real, but they wasn't thank god, cause we'll have them everywhere.

The special effects are fun, with the worms as the film's showpiece. Thankfully, there's no overdone CGI and the worms are actually well-rendered and convincing. But I must say, I was a little misled, seeing how it is the worms don't actually look like the one on the video box cover (which actually looks cooler). But never mind that, I'm wondering how the director managed to pull off so many scenes of the creatures popping out from underground. I mean, given the fact that this is a goofy monster movie, it couldn't have been given a very big budget. I also love those worm POV shots, particularly the ones that actually feature the camera wading through the dirt.

USS Seaview
4 July 2005
This is a good undersea TV series at its time, and the cast we're brilliant especially Admiral Nelson and Capt Lee Crane. The ship its self is cute especially the little yellow escape pod thin that they use to go on away missions.

I remember when it first appeared in colour and the crew members with no rank was wearing their blue or red uniforms.

This is very simular to SeaQuest DSV, but a bit low tech.

The episode i remember is that they had a mummy on board and was going round knocking the crew unconscious, and with the sea-monster like from the black lagoon, wit his fins and yellowish eyes.

I'd love to watch them again if they were re-broadcasted.

You must be Judged!
28 June 2005
This is a class A lycan vs vampire film. It has good special effects and a good story line and characters you love and hate.

The main characters are Selene (Vampire Death Dealer ) and Micheal ( Half breed between the 2 species.

Selene is like a daughter to the main Vampire leader VIKTOR. He's full of attitude and all others respect him. I was disappointed when they killed him off after his fight with Micheal and Selene.

The storyline was okay in places but they should'nt of killed all the council members, so they could arrive at the mansion and judge Selene for awaking viktor and seeing Kraven judged for his alliance with Lucian ( Head of the Lycan Clan).

I'm looking forward to the 2nd movie in the series, i've read thats its going to be a prequel, so Viktor will be in it, but really in my opinion they should have let him live.

Great music and costumes and fight scenes.

I'll see you in Hell!
27 June 2005
Boring is the main word to describe this film! The first 10 Min's with Laurie ( Jamie Lee Curtis ) was good because it ended Micheal's rage to kill his sister after 4 movies after Halloween 1 and 2. John Carpenter should of added the first 10 Min's of Halloween 8 to the end of H2O to finally close the whole chapter of the series. It be upsetting to most Halloween fans that there wont be no more but its just cash at the end of the day for the producers, but i wont see anymore if they make a 9th or 10th cause it would have no connection with Halloween 1,2,4,5,H2O. The series has to end once and for all, cause it would get boring if there's more films made.

You blew it up!
27 June 2005
Excellent film in my opinion, great effects and great story line even tho the film is from the late 1960's. I like the cast especially Taylor and the special relationship he has with Dr's Zira and Cornelius. There are a few good lines from Charlton Heston. The most catching line is when he's captured by the apes after escaping the prison and he quotes " Take your stinking paws off me ... you damn dirty ape". And when he's about to leave with nova before finding his destiny, he wants to give Zira a goodbye kiss and she says " alright but your soooo damn ugly". I have to agree with other users that it has one of the best endings ever, and i wasn't expecting it to what it was supposed to be.

Wasn't keen on the re-make just didn't make any sense and was a load of rubbish!

Alien (1979)

Special Order 937
24 June 2005
This is the ultimate sci-fi film of the century! It has a crap version of the alien but Ridley scott made the film about suspense so you know the alien is there but not see him till near the end. I saw the directors cut and thought the scenes that were cut should have been left in, especially where ripleys just activated the self destruct and finds dallas and brett in a cocoon state, which would explain the cocoons in ALIENS and why ripley freaks out when the marines find them. Parker was the funniest of the crew the way him and brett scare each other after letting the cat jonesy out the locker when looking for the alien. My favorite scene is where ripleys heading back to the shuttle and the alien id in the corridor and the music and suspense kicks in, that an ultimate scene.I also liked the bit where ripley trys to de-activate it and mother does not accept the abort sequence and ripley says " you bitch".." ohhh" and whacks mother one.

Deep Rising (1998)

Now What!
24 June 2005
When i first saw the making of Deep Rising, i knew it was going to be a sea monster film which i love. It was simular to Virus starring Jamie Lee Curtis, but with sea creatures from far below the deep china sea.It took me ages to find it, but when i did i really enjoyed it especially with joeys little sarcastic jokes and Finnagan kicking one of the pirates in the lift and saying " I heard you the first time", and they all say " stand down you" which is really funny. Its a low budgit film, but has great catchphrases and good special effects. The 1 scene that i thought was ewww, was when they are in the contruction room, and arguning about simon kent destroying the communications equipment and ther sea monster is in the pipes and finnagen shoots it and the 1 pirate is all deformed and missing half his head and you can see all his internal organs and bit. ( NICE)

Alright....Move Him!
24 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I was very impressed with this sequel after the poor attempt of Halloween 3 with no relevance to the first 2 films. The music is funkier in this film and i really enjoyed it.

When i watched it on VHS The 1 scene where Micheal is on the car and grabbing rachael the theme music kicks in all the way till she runs him over after she stops the car and he's standing in front of it.

On the DVD The same scene the theme music kicks in but is cut after he gets his first grab of her. The scene after when jamies mom is running her a bath and puts the clown mask on and stabs her mom, is great, just like the original.
