Uncharted (2022)
What was that
This was one of the worst movies I've seen in a while... literally who wrote this script?? There was maybe a single line of good dialogue in this while everything else felt disjointed and so try-hard. Where was the chemistry between the main characters? Where was the comedy? Maybe with some of those elements I would have been able to ignore the absolutely ridiculous action sequences happening thousands of feet in the air multiple times with seemingly no concern for gravity. I know action movies aren't supposed to be realistic, but this was something else entirely. Luckily, because of the sheer insanity of the whole thing I was able to laugh at it and have a good time, but this should not be considered a film at all. It is a pile of hot garbage and I have lost the single shred of respect I still had for Netflix.
Love, Death & Robots: Jibaro (2022)
Literally what
I cannot believe how bad that was, truly the most obnoxiously overdone ear-ruining piece of garbage I have ever seen. What was the plot? Dancing weirdos with makeup dripping down their faces wearing costumes from target? In all fairness, other episodes have been cool and engaging so I don't hate the whole show, just this episode specifically.
Crush (2022)
Super sweet!
What a funny and charming feel-good movie! I loved it, nothing felt forced or drawn out. It's a high school rom-com with representation and positivity throughout. Don't let the bad reviews put you off, definitely give this a watch!
Holding the Man (2015)
Why?
Why does every gay movie have to end in tragedy? I wanted to enjoy the progression of the love story, but I could tell by the first scene that at least one of the characters were going to die at the end and I'm sorry but that just ruins the whole story.
