Quiet Riot: Well Now You're Here, There's No Way Back (2014)
Great update on a important band showing what it takes to still rock.
While helpful to be a fan of 80's Heavy Metal and/or have lived through that time, where the film really succeeds is that isn't necessary. In fact the film will give you great insight and downright introduce you to the genre and if you don't finish the film at the very least fascinated you don't have a pulse. The story of Quiet Riot is an important one, not just within Heavy Metal circles, but any musician that's ever made a stab of making a living with their craft can relate & will be inspired. The film itself is really about relationships & how crucial they are to making a band unit work. Director Regina Russell's dedication to getting raw, unflinching interviews from the captain of the ship drummer Franki Banali pays dividends to reveal the true power behind the will to keep rawking. Bang your head!
