A qute different Christmas story
16 January 2021
Although this movie is "a bit" different than I suspected and expected, I cannot, in good conscious, say that it was not a Good movie just because it did not meet what I had dumbly expected. So what if it is a Christmas story with several twists? The acting was good, the scenery was good, and there is nothing wrong with the story and it was good filmmaking. The only possible thing that could be wrong is if you cannot deviate from the classical jolly Xmas story long enough to appreciate this film. It is tiring to have all American movies end the same way... this was a breath of fresh air.

Great cases, but...
2 January 2021
The series itself is a good series with plenty to "talk" about, for there is no lack of military events that are script-worthy. For the most part, everyone does their job as they should, not only as the character in the series, but as the actor who is not really a SEAL.Even if I think that someone needs to knock Jason off his high horse and that Mandy should have been played by a stronger actor, what really gets me is the sappiness that has been growing, especially between Ray and Naima, with all this "It's my fault", "No, it's mine", "No, I didn't..." or "I should have..."; I'm expecting them to soon start the "I love you", "I love you more", "No, I love you more", and so on... this is about half an inch away from becoming a normal weepy, sniffy soap opera. I can understand people having problems of all sorts, but they are just becoming too goody two shoes, and way too much time is being spent on that.

Pointless movie by decent to good actors
9 October 2017
This is the story of a very troubled man who, on his way out of prison is asked to kill someone for a decent amount of money. He meets a sweet beautiful girl who "takes him in", no questions asked; trust at first sight. Yet this story revolves around the job he has at hand, the baggage that he's been carrying around making him sour, pissy, and defensive all the time, the girl who keeps trying to calm him down, relax him, cheer him up, and get him into bed with her, to no avail.

This movie is very slow, somewhat confusing at times, and very, very dull. I had nothing, I mean, Nothing better to do when I started watching it, yet I could not stay through to the end, and I have seen my share of bad movies in my time. I did not want to believe the 3.7 rating it has considering the actors, but now I understand it. "Tomorrow You're Gone"... I was gone less than an hour into it.
