We'll done documentary but....
6 July 2023
This is a well made doc but at the end of the day it's just another slight of hand piece to make you think Vegan is the best way for (everyone). It's not. A well balanced diet is. (For most people) I've seen docs that push the Carnivore diet with science based evidence. All slight of hand. The exact same formula.

When people choose to go vegan for what they believe, cruelty to animals and so on I 100% respect that. If a Vegan diet works for you, go for it. You can't tell Me that eating an impossible ultra processed burger is better for your health.... It's not. For every 1 Vegan Champion I'll show you 10,000 champions that eat an Omnivores well balanced diet.

Nice to see a different side...
23 May 2023
I was never the biggest Conor McGregor fan but this different side of him opened me up a bit. I always enjoyed watching him fight but always rooted against him. In this mini series you get to see a little bit inside this incredibly for lack of a better word, enigma of a man. He's seems to be torn between being that once stop and nothing hungry fighter trying to make it and now having everything he ever dreamed of. You can't be half a fighter. Marvin Hagler once said: "It's tough to get out of bed to do roadwork at 5am when you're sleeping in silk pajamas ." That's seems to ring true for The Notorious. I've become somewhat of a fan seeing the different side of him. Seeing him being a Father and husband. This is a good watch.

The Sopranos (1999–2007)
10/10
The Television show that started it all.
10 February 2023
The Sopranos are to television what Tom Brady is to football...

This is one piece of television that I have probably watched through seasons one through six at least 7 to 10 times, and each time it gets better and funnier. It has a little bit of everything. It's crazy to think that this show first aired well over 20 years ago and has been over for almost 15. A lot of these actors have passed on and it makes me sad like the great James Gandolfini, who is probably the greatest single character in television history, and pave the way for guys like Walter White.

They show as a little bit of everything that has family drama , violence , comedy. It's the whole package.

I wanted to love it...
30 November 2022
I am a huge fan of the original 1983 film so I must admit, going into this my expectations were pretty high. I absolutely love that almost every significant original character returned.

The story was decent at best. In my eyes it seemed like a straight to Video type of film..The story is cute but incredibly predictable.

Ralphie is a struggling writer with a family of his own. With the unexpected death of the old man Ralphie promises his mom to carry on the Christmas traditions the old man seamlessly created for the family all these years.

I'm glad I watched it but I don't think I'd ever revisit it. It really don't hold up at all to the classic original.

Hidden Gem...
20 November 2022
This film is one that definitely flies under the radar. A Harvard student falls hostage to a super intelligent vagrant. I know that plot don't sound very interesting but in my humble opinion it's one of the better films I've ever seen.

I was a young kid around 13-14 and I'd watch this over and over without really ever understanding it. I always loved Joe Pesci and still do. He's on my Top 3 without a doubt. He's absolutely brilliant and hilarious. Brendan Fraser is also fantastic.

This film teaches you a good lesson. There is more to life that meets the eye and to never judge a book by its cover.

Incredibly disturbing...Superior acting.
1 October 2022
Let's start right off the bat that stating Evan Peters better get some sort of award for His performance because he is flat out brilliant. I remember being 11 or 12 years old when all of this unfolded, still creeps me out.

The producer is Ryan Murphy the person that created American Horror story. It has that same creepiness the show had until the last few season which have been incredibly disappointing. The attention to detail is phenomenal along with a great supporting cast. Good move by releasing this around Halloween too, I myself tend to gravitate towards the Genre during the spooky season.

Defiantly worth the watch unless you are faint of heart because he eats a few.... Enjoy!

Pleasantly Surprised...
20 June 2022
I am a huge fan of the original top gun movie. I must admit, I did not expect much. Especially watching the previews for the future movies that are coming out. They just do not make good movies anymore.

This sequel was everything you want if you're a top gun fan. Besides the fact that there are not many actors that are in it from the original... it's action packed, it has a great storyline and the action scenes are phenomenal.

I expected less and got more...
13 March 2022
I really didn't expect too much but I was very surprised how good the story was told and the acting was. It's a lot more emotional that I expected. Worth the watch.

Love me some Ollie Stone
13 November 2021
I have always been a huge fan of Oliver Stone's work. He's done it again. A look into some new info from the JFK assassination. So many moving parts and so many inconsistencies with the Warren commission findings. Will we ever really know the truth? This might help you connect the missing dots.

One of the better Mafia films
17 October 2021
This film is by far and away one of the best depictions of mafia life. Armand Assante rightly so won an Emmy for his role as John Gotti. Could have been an Oscar if it was released in theatres, Excellent film.

I enjoyed it but it could have been so much better...
1 October 2021
I'm not blown away but I'm not disappointed either. Great cinematography and the storyline was decent. I was a little confused as to why the story spent so much time on the riots and the Harold McBrayer character. This plot was completely forced and made me want to Fast Forward.... I'm pretty sure all the hate comes from most thinking this movie was going to focus on the characters we all know and love from The original Sopranos series. It's definitely not that. It's a prequel about Christopher's father Dickie. If most of the viewers went in with that mindset I think people would have a different view about it.

Most of the casting choices for the characters we knew from the series were good and a few were abysmal. I loved Jon Bernthal as Johnny Soprano , Vera Farminga as Livia, Mike G as Teenage Tony. Terrible choices were Silvio and Paulie. Although they 100% looked like them could act like them but that's exactly what they were doing. It was more like an impersonation. If this was an impersonation contest, I would say they were good choices. It almost seems like a SNL skit. The choice for Uncle Junior also seemed like an impersonation, not as bad as Silvio and Paulie, but still there could've been a better choice.

If you're a real Sopranos nut, I think you should appreciate some of the little Easter eggs in this film amd all the small references to the show. If you really pay attention there are many. Just name one, Dickie calls Young Tony...Cucuzza (Ga-Goots) The same way Tony did to AJ when he was little. I enjoyed all the little things that most people might not catch the The first time watching,

Social Media is ruining us.
21 September 2021
After reading some of the reviews for this documentary, I'm confused to why people think it's propaganda. All they are doing is trying to shine some light on what's happening to us... If you can't see it for yourself, I don't even know what to say to you. Most people don't speak anymore, They can't walk 5 feet without staring at their phones. I was on social media like everybody else... I'm probably one of the few I've got rid of everything... The proof is in the pudding.

Such a horrible movie. Just another example of Lebron not being able to hold a candle to Michael.

I used to be an Avid AHS fan. The last good thing that came from it was the Hotel season. Ever since then it has been nothing but crap...time to put this to bed.

Blown Away....
10 August 2021
My advice would be don't watch this mini-Series with thoughts of comparing in the Band of Brothers. It does focus on WWll but it a different type of mini-Series.

When I first watched this my mindset was Band of Brothers part 2 in the Pacific. I remember not so much being disappointed because it wasn't as good.

After rewatching it a few years later I was a absolutely blown away. The acting is superb and the stories of these Marines is so inspiring...to think these were mostly kids fighting for what we as Americans enjoy today.

The story focuses on 3 Marines in about 3 year span from 1942-1945 it's goes back and fourth between all 3.

Very underrated.
13 March 2021
I remember watching this on cable as a kid 10-11 years old and liking it. Now that I'm grown, I truly understand what a great film it is. One of the most underrated films ever. Excellent from top to bottom. Acting, Storyline and cinematography. Votos Locos 4ever!

I wanted to love it.
10 March 2021
If this film didn't have most if not all the original films significant characters returning I'd consider it unwatchable. It had it's funny moments but the story is incredibly predictable and poor. A lot of bad CGI. It just seemed very cheap to me. It also falls into the new "Woke Movement" category. Coming to America is a masterpiece so a sequel is a real hard act to follow. If your a fan of the original you owe it to yourself to watch it at least once.

Captures the mind of a mad man.
16 January 2021
Seeing this film for the first time in early 2021... By read all these reviews, you would think it's the worst film ever created. It's not meant to be a box office thriller but more of a look inside the mind of a depressed, sick individual. I think Jared Leto's portrayal of Mark David Chapman Is disturbing, creepy and absolutely amazing. The cinematography is also excellent. I won hundred percent believe that it is worth the watch.

Excellent...
9 January 2021
I heard a lot of good things about this series and I was not disappointed. Acting is superb and the story is stellar. Takes place mostly in the 60's, when a film or series can be transformed back in time with such precision and detail, it really gets my attention. This series is worth the time.

Brilliant from top to bottom.
8 November 2020
This show is amazing all around such great acting and story line. It's one of those shows that needs time to set things up so if it seems slow and confusing at first try and stick it out. I love seeing all these big time crime syndicates come up and thru the ranks. The way they can transform a set back 100 years with such precision and accuracy is astounding to me. Sopranos is my favorite show ever and you'll see a lot of these actors and actresses in this series.

I have a heart for Non Violent illegals but this is Anti-Trump propaganda all the way.
3 August 2020
This is pretty much an attack on Donald Trumps zero tolerance policy. I'm not defending all the things wrong with this policy or Trump but it's pretty obvious. ICE has been around for a very long time and we never heard much about it under the previous administration. Even thoe that administration deported more people ever in the history of this nation, But now it's a problem. I do understand that under Obama it was higher risk illegal aliens first... And now under Trump it's a zero tolerance policy. I don't think the documentary is terrible , I dislike when they only wanna show one side of the coin... All they want to show you is families getting ripped apart instead of them rounding Up illegal criminals and making us as Americans safer. With all that being said. We do need to do a better job of not separating children from their families. That policy was changed in 2018 I think. We are a nation of laws. We must abide by them. I certainly think a lot can be handled better but these people are just doing their jobs. I hope many people come here and give their kids a better life but let's do it the right way.

Started amazing but declines more and more every season.
31 July 2020
This show in the beginning, was absolutely amazing from top to bottom storyline, acting everything. Season two, very very good... After that season three OK it wasn't bad. Every season from there on with the exception of hotel... Which I actually enjoyed, is absolutely horrible. I think it's time to finally put the series to bed.

Under the radar good movie.
29 March 2020
Mystery Alaska is a small town that prides itself on Hockey. They have something called the Saturday game, all the best hockey players in the small town play on a pond. Charlie Danner (Hank Azaria) a resident who left the town to become a sports writer publishes an article in Sports Illustrated about this game. After the article gains some traction, He comes back With a proposal for the Players of mystery Alaska to play the New York Rangers in a televised event.

To me this is one of the more underrated hockey movies... Has a good storyline and good acting. I think it's definitely worth the watch.

Timeless classic
15 December 2019
This is one of those classic Christmas films that I make sure every holiday season, I watch it at least once. Not only is this a brilliant movie it's also an amazing lesson. I think we all forget to look at the big picture sometimes. Just like George Bailey has touched so many lives yet he doesn't realize without him so many people will not be the same. I'm a 38-year-old man this is by far one of my favorite movies since I've been a little kid and yes... I cry at the end every single time Clarence gets his wings. I usually tell my wife that I yawned or have dust in my eye if she catches me.
