No Child of Mine (1997)
No Child of Mine.
First of all I do want to say something abut the movie. Even though it seems too unrealistic to be sexually abused by one's mother, father, parents friends, etc. it does happen. I speak from personal experience. Not only was I sexually abused by the ones mentioned, but I was abused sexually by those whom I thought were my friends and my then husband. In my opinion, changing the names, dates, and locations make it seem less believable. I don't know what happened to the real Kerry, but for me with therapy and more importantly, the grace of the Lord, I don't have flashbacks any longer and am in a very healthy and loving relationship. Furthermore, I'm now an ordained non denominational minister who reaches out to those who have been sexually abused. Anyone who wants to chat, feel free to message me. God bless.
Little Mo (1978)
movie ending
If one reads Wikapedia about teach in real life she died in 1963, so the movie was so wrong about the fact that she and Little Mo made up. It's crazy that teach narrated Little's Mo's death then, Also Little Mo and Norman's daughters were really 12 and 9 when she died. They made the girls look much younger and in reality Tracey Gold was really 9 and Missy Gold was only 7. With these distortions, I wonder how much was actually true, except for Little Mo's sports victories and her marriage. In fact, they make it that teach walked out on Little Mo, but Little Mo actually fired teach herself. It was very entertaining, but not very factual.
Little House on the Prairie: May We Make Them Proud: Part I (1980)
Little House on the Prarie Review spoiler.
This contains spoilers. In the episode may We Make Them Proud , in my opinion was a way of teaching kids the dangers of smoking,
but not in the usual way. I also felt that Albert showed poor judgment on buying a music box that Mary used with her baby. Didn't he think at all in this episode. I don't think he did this to get her to get out her extreme despair. I think he was , just not thinking. Any way, the show originally started on Wednesdays, not Mondays, and it was on NBC, not CBS. Furthermore, this episode was broadcasted in 1980, not the 1970's. this episode made me afraid of smoking and of fire. I don't know if this episode had w warning when it was originally broadcasted or on the DVD, but I think it should.
