Recipients of The Kill Count's Dull Machete
392 people |
Public
Actors whose characters death received the Dull Machete Award for Lamest Kill (and awards of a similar accolade), as determined by James A. Janisse of Dead Meat.
If you don't see a Kill Count listed, then...either I couldn't find the actor that played the character (this happens when he gives the award to a background kill) or a Dull Machete wasn't awarded.

Adding both the actors that received the recognition and the honorable mentions.
Quick note - This list is sorted by an actor's most recent appearance, so if you see a date missing a winner or honorable mention, that would probably be because they received another mention later on.

Quick note - This list is sorted by an actor's most recent appearance, so if you see a date missing a winner or honorable mention, that would probably be because they received another mention later on.
Random facts:
- Grant Gustin and Claire Danes are tied for the most appearances on Performer of the Week, with 8 combined Performer of the Week and Honorable Mentions titles each. Sarah Paulson is in second place, with 7 combined Performer of Week and Honorable Mention titles each.
- 7 people are tied for having the most Performer of the Week titles (with 4): Freddie Highmore, Uzo Aduba, Bill Hader, Billie Piper, Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, and Elisabeth Moss.
- Stephen Amell has the most Honorable Mentions, with 6.
- 14 people on this list are deceased: Treat Williams, Lance Reddick, Andre Braugher, David McCallum, Ron Cephas Jones, Glenda Jackson, Leslie Jordan, Robert Morse, Louie Anderson, Michael Kenneth Williams, Cicely Tyson, Diana Rigg, Miguel Ferrer, & Luke Perry.
- Quickest wait between appearances belongs to Kevin Chapman, who received an Honorable Mention for his work on Person of Interest a week after winning Performer of the Week for his work on Person of Interest. Harrison Ford has the second quickest wait, who received an Honorable Mention for his work on Shrinking two weeks after winning Performer of the Week for his work on 1923.
- Longest wait between appearances goes to Norman Reedus, who was named Performer of the Week for his work on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon 10 years and 6 months after being named Performer of the Week for his work on The Walking Dead. Emma Stone has the second longest wait between appearances, having received an Honorable Mention for her work on The Curse 9 years and 8 months after receiving an Honorable Mention for her work on The Tonight Show.
- Youngest person to receive Performer of the Week is...whoever played the baby in Breaking Bad. I don't have her mentioned on this list because I don't know who played her.
- Apart from said baby, the only other "actor" not placed on the list is The Machine from Person of Interest.
- The current record for Most Actors to Receive Performer of the week is 12, when every cast member of The Boys (sans Dominique McElligott and Nathan Mitchell) won the title on 6/25/22 for their work on the episode "Herogasm".
- I could be wrong on this, but there are only 5 actors to receive a Performer of the Week mention for voice-acting a character; Jane Krakowski for her work on BoJack Horseman, Alan Tudyk for his work on Harley Quinn, Tara Strong for her work on Loki, Mae Whitman for her work on Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, and Devery Jacobs for her work on What If...?. This is my one complaint with the series; I really wish they would highlight the work that voice actors do more frequently. They're capable of delivering equally stellar performances while under different guidelines.

With the creation of CSI: Vegas and the short-lived run of CSI: Cyber, the number of people who could conceivably appear in all 5 shows can be counted on both hands. 4/5 shows is likely, but it could still be a low number if Vegas is as unsuccessful as Cyber was.
With this in mind, I'm doing to CSI what I did to NCIS, and made a list of everyone who appeared in a combination of shows. If they appeared in any three-way combination of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, CSI: Cyber, or CSI: Vegas, then they'll appear on the list.
Edit: Sorting the actors by how many shows in the CSI Franchise they've appeared in, then by alphabetical surname.

I've only decided to start a collection of playbills...last year, so my recollection is going to be spotty at the beginning. As a result, names are probably gonna be left off.
Broadway actors also have more empty IMDB profiles, so there will probably also be times where the profile I link to is not actually the performer that I saw.
Edit: Attended my first convention, so I'm adding in the actors that I've met & seen while I was there!

A list of people that have appeared in both Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Like with the CSI Trifecta, someone else has made a list like this, but like with that list, I want to focus on the characters that these actors portrayed in this show.

With the cancellation of NCIS: New Orleans and the creation of NCIS: Hawaii, the likelihood of someone appearing on all 4 shows that bare the NCIS moniker has decreased considerably. Even less so if you take JAG into accounts.
Since I don't yet know how successful NCIS: Hawaii will be, and I have lists detailing two different three-way combinations (that I still plan on updating), I'm deciding to clump all possible three-way combinations together into one single list.
The rules are simple. If an actor has appeared in at least three out of JAG, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, and NCIS: Hawaii, then they'll be added to the list.
Edit: Arranging the list by how many shows in the franchise that they appear in, followed by alphabetical surname.
