Beautiful waterfall and wonderful to look at. Also the sound of the waterfall and birds was very relaxing to listen to! The film takes me to another world and gives me a good feeling. No dialogs only the sound of waterfalls and birds! If you have a annoying job or are just stressed out, this is the best way to relax. I rate it very good because it was very professionally done. If you look at the technical side, it is a masterpiece. Not only high quality pictures and sounds, also very good compositions. The water is very often shown very spectacular, always from the right side. I had the feeling that myself was there. Fantastically beautiful. The place is just beautiful Everyone who likes such movies will love this one. Look at this movie, you will enjoy it.

Despite being both a fan of romantic comedies and Amy Adams,I had avoided this film due to the critic's panning it on it's theatrical release. Thank goodness I checked Amazon. The positive reviews here got me to buy it (although I still didn't expect much). It has quickly become one of my favorite films, one that I'll watch for years. Somehow the two leads manage to convey their characters slow and reluctant growth from a blazing clash of personalities to real intimacy. I believed every word and gesture that they made. Matthew Goode is new to me but he has me hooked. I know the plot has been done many ways before, but the characters in this film are so nuanced and pleasurable that it holds its own with the best.

Because of negative reviews of this film, I thought it would be bad, but I bought anyway to watch for myself. After watching it, and liking it a lot, my only negative review is of the negative reviewers. Kevin James does great physical comedy in the movie, and it was entertaining to see some real-life reflections of things like some security/law enforcement thinking everyone is a civilian except for themselves. The story line is a sappy nonsense cliché of boy meets girl and encounters an unreal challenge scenario where he proves to be a hero. Even so, I enjoyed watching it and think it is a great movie for kids. It's rare to find a well done, clean movie, that's not all computer animation. The PG rating is appropriate for some violence and vulgar language.

This movie was very entertaining. It was a fun, action-packed romantic comedy. It did not do well at the box office domestically because U.S film critics were harsh, but it performed superbly in the international market. International films fans understood to not take it too seriously. Both Tom and Cameron performed well in their roles. They had some adorably funny lines to deliver. Regardless of what is in the gossip columns on these actors, they are good, great actors depending on the roles and scripts they are given. If you want to see a nice escape from reality type movie, watch this one. About 2 weeks after I purchased the three disc combo, I enjoyed the extended version as well. I appreciate that Amazon was offering that bonus, and it's a great way for them to introduce their Video On Demand services.

I rented this movie for light entertainment after watching the trailer and ended up with not one, but two belly laughs. I can't remember the last time a movie made me laugh this hard. The first scene was with the two in the bushes - I don't want to give it away too much but you'll know what I mean when you see it, and the second scene was with two main characters in the restaurant followed by one in the restroom. Where did they find Coaster-Waldau (whom I had never heard of, sorry to way)? He pulled off the broad comedy and made it real. Leslie Mann is a hoot and she and Cameron Diaz kept up the brisk, funny pace throughout the movie, something that a lot of movies fail to do effectively ... so kudos to the director, too. Anyway, far better than the piece of fluff I was expecting.

I loved when this movie first came out in theaters, I loved it on in that bulky VHS box, I loved it on DVD and well...you guessed it, I love it on Blu-Ray. some of the negative reviews are saying they had issues with either sound or playback. My BD played all the way through, from beginning to end without any issues OTHER THAN one small freeze up between a particular chapter change. I don't think I lost more than a second or two. It could have had something to do with the issues people were talking about or just dust on the disk or a smudge. Either way I'm not complaining. It did not interrupt my movie experience and I continue to love this movie. So glad that I can own it in such high definition. It looks and sounds great. You see every detail of every scene like never before. They really went out of their way to make this as clean as possible, and we're talking about a movie that came out in the late 90's. Oh! And the commentaries and special features are great, STILL haven't gotten through all of them. Maybe I'll do that now...enjoy.
