Batman: Arkham City (2011)
Possibly one of, if not the best video games ever made
Where to start? This game re-invented what it would actually feel like to be the batman. After arkham asylum came out I was amazed at rocksteadys ability to make a match if not trump its predecessor with arkham City. The scale of this game is huge,( not as huge as Arkham Knight but still huge ) the storyline is so intriguing and complex it weaves its way into your brain like a centipede. But the thing that won me over and made this game was its boss fights. No other game has built scenes up and then make you control your character and beat the main oppressor like this one has. Mark Hamil really shines as the clown prince of crime and delivers a sinister, terrifying version of a batman favorite, the joker. But maybe just as good was the voice talent of batman, Kevin Conroy who also voices batman in 'the animated series' and the 'justice league'. I think this game really delves into the relationship of batman and the joker, and how there really can't be one without the other. The ending had me speechless and amazed and the final line delivered by Conroy is ironic and brilliant. With the addition of the amazing boss fight with Mr Freeze this game is nothing short of perfect and a personal favorite of many superhero fans. It deserves a 10.
Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)
An interesting conclusion to a stunning series
After completing this game I didn't really know what to think. The story was great, the voice acting was top notch, the graphics were mouth watering but I felt a little empty after I put down my controller. BAA had a real comic book feeling about it and was a great start to the franchise. After playing BAC video gaming was never the same and I remember saying to myself, this is what it is to be the batman. After playing BAK I feel like they ditched the comic book feeling, but I am glad Rocksteady really dug deep into what it would be like to be the batman. Compared to the other arkham games this one falls short on boss fights but takes a step up on story lines and emotional appeal. There are two big twists in this game, number one is who was under the arkham Knights high tech mask, and the other was an underlying mental struggle that sticks with you for around the entire game. The first spoiler wasn't handled very well, and when Jason Todd lifted his mask i felt like I knew it from the very beginning. The second however, ( Jokers blood is in batman and is almost taking over the dark knight ) is handled with class and style. Overall even though I felt a little empty after finishing I still find this conclusion stunning and complexing. Even though I think it isn't the best of the arkham series it still deserves a 10.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
A fun set of good stories with excellent characters
This is a great T.V show and will bring many hours of enjoyment to people who are Star Wars fans and ones that are not.People under appreciate this great series of stories! First of all, character development is fantastic and after a few episodes you will be hooked! There are a few boring episodes but the ratio of good episodes to bad, have the good outweighing the bad 5:1. The voice acting on this show is great and the ties it makes with the Star Wars universe is a nice nod to Star Wars fans. The last season they made was the best of all and with the addition of old and new characters I strongly advise watching this T.V series.
