Happiest Season (2020)
Slow moving
Needed more Dan Levy. It was a great story, but everything seemed so lackluster. There are a lot of great actors here, but it felt like they were all holding back.
Holidate (2020)
I knew it would be bad...but I had no idea how bad
I can't believe I watched this from beginning to end. The writing was awful and I genuinely felt bad for Emma Roberts trying to act.
Little Fires Everywhere (2020)
I like it
I like it, don't love it. Since I did not read the book, I cannot speak to whether it's better or not as good. My complaint is just like everyone else's in that Kerry Washington is hard to watch. I've only seen her in a few other things, and she was the reason I was hesitant to watch it in the first place. But, I'll finish it.
The Man in the High Castle (2015)
This could have been really something
But it wasn't. They took forever to get nowhere. Mr Sewill was the only person I enjoyed watching. The woman who played Juliane Crane was so terrible. It seemed like they never could find a story line they liked so they tried a sampling.
Monk: Mr. Monk Buys a House (2008)
Monk's favorite water
Why did they change his brand of water? For the first 6 seasons, I believe, it was Sierra Springs.
Designated Survivor (2016)
The language is out of place
I'm not a prude. I love House of Cards and other shows that drop the "f bomb" constantly. This seems forced and doesn't fit the flow of the show. That being said, I still like the show, even though it's not great and I'm glad to see Hannah Wells gone. After the first couple episodes in the first season her part didn't fit.
Sneaky Pete: The Brooklyn Potash (2019)
still a great show
I'll admit I still think the first season was the strongest. This third season seemed to be more inconsistent, with the what I remember from the first season. But I'll admit, I may have not been paying as much attention as I should. Speaking to that, did they resolve the $200k bail bond issue?
