The Wilds (2020)
Ten out of ten- to the haters.
This review is in large part a response to the negative ones. You can see that their ratings received very little agreement, which leads me to believe that they either didn't understand the assignment or didn't understand what they are watching. Regardless of my opinion, the point is that most of those reviews were marked unhelpful. So I encourage others to read the higher reviews, they aren't rating based on subjective context, rather objective opinion.
With that said, the show is from a teenage girl perspective. That was made clear in the initial preview. From there understand that it's "lord of the flies" with women. Definitely thought provoking and entertaining.
Tiny Pretty Things (2020)
What just happened.
Professional dancer here.
Single positive thing I can say about this show: they hired actual dancers.
Horrible plot, unrealistic, terribly written script, direction lacking, embarrassing acting. Not in any way an accurate representation of the dance world.
Don't waste your time.
The Archer (2016)
Movie was entertaining for what it was
Looking for an entertaining 90 minutes, don't dig too deep or think too hard and you're fine. Lacking plot and dialogue. Decent acting and excellent music editing.
With that said, about 90% of the reviews on here are upset because they made the main character gay. Which is just stupid. You're entitled to your opinion, but I don't see people putting down a movie because the lead characters are straight, so if that's your only issue with a movie... waste the excessive workout you just gave your thumbs, because you end up just sounding ignorant.
To everyone else - Happy movie watching!
Every Day (2018)
Disappointing
Do yourself a favor, read the book instead of wasting 90 minutes on this. The movie was significantly flawed and took out the parts that made the story so beautiful, unique and special. A simple voice over could have corrected this, but unfortunately this fell very short of expectation. I can imagine it's extremely confusing without reading the book first, because they don't explain anything.
