The Tell Tale Heart (2022)
Well-lit Trip into Darkness
This film will take you on a trip down the beautifully lit, red brick road of the human mind and into some of the darkest recesses of human depravity. In a neatly wrapped, slightly bloodspattered package.
All in a little more than 20 minutes.
Rather than being gory, this lovely film relies on psychological chills and thrills to draw you in and shake your fear in front of your face. Incredible lighting, phenomenal camera angles, and a badass crew round out the contents of this sweet little package.
I Chose Life: Stories of Suicide and Survival (2020)
Pure, Raw, Riveting, A Must See
To be absolutely fair, I came to hear what Jared Padalecki had to say.
I ended up promoting the premiere all over my Facebook page, watching the entire film, and staying for the Zoom call as well as participating as best I could in the conversation.
This film is an absolute must-see, for everyone. Because the topic affects everyone, regardless of one's status, race, creed, faith, sexuality. It will blindside you, but it will also offer a bit of hope as well, along with resources, insights, and avenues of support to explore.
Jacqui Blue is a true artist.
