Hurricane Season (2009)
Seemed like a lifetime movie
I didn't care for the movie. It seemed like a lifetime movie or something.
What kept going through my mind is if the coach actually cared about his team, he wouldn't have had issues with him players going elsewhere. If you had students that had potential, you're holding them back by having them play in a broken city where they won't get visibility.
As for the team building exercises and stuff like that, that was good. I could see focusing on basketball helping build a team and doing so could be a distraction that relieves some of the pressures of being in a destroyed city.
Riddick (2013)
It's similar to Pitch Black
Basically, Riddick is told where his home planet is located and he tries to go there. It's a trick. The aliens that go with Riddick try to kill him. Riddick kills some of the aliens and the cliff he is standing on gets blown up. Riddick survives the fall and makes his way to a medical outpost/station. He calls for help and bounty hunters come to get him. Once the bounty hunters get there, Riddick and the bounty hunters fight. Then the situation gets worse when it starts to rain.
Long story short, Riddick is like Pitch Black except the main monsters come out during the rain. Pitch black has one bounty hunter while Riddick has multiple bounty hunters. In the extended cut (which I saw) Riddick had more blood and nakedness than Pitch Black.
