Frank (2014)
Did anyone actually hear the music?
I don't actually have any way to start about this. The cinematography, the acting, the jokes (or lack there of) and the overall feeling are done quite well. The problem is, I didn't hear a chord of music worth listening or a verse that made any sense whatsoever. Then I realized that the movie is not about music at all, and that the whole thing serves as some kind of therapy, after you see that the keyboard player wanted to commit suicide, and a whole lot other crap happening with the members of the band. The first part of the movie looked like a mock to all the nowadays music and the musicians, showing the lack of talent and the ignorance in all of it. Afterwards, you realize that they're all mental patients and that it's not about the music at all. Now, after we digested this fact alone, what is left is still not satisfying or artistic. It might as well been a story about autistic children making charity gifts. There is nothing there to look at, honestly. As much as I wanted to have something learned and felt from the film, I only actually felt sorry for the characters, which is well not worth the money or the time. Sorry, Fassbender, this is a low for you.

There is a metaphor to this, maybe the rest of the reviewers ignored it
Warning: Spoilers
The gore, the horror, the claustrophobic atmosphere, the slow tempo of the whole movie is not the problem. It is the solution. I watched it a few days ago, and I can't say I wasn't left without scars, or without scares. Both. The gory moments have done their work and the slowness has done its, too. I spent a few days thinking about how this could metaphorically mean anything, and just this morning, it hit me. This movie can be a metaphor for the whole human person, and what happens to it if it doesn't think of the consequences of its actions. Blindly following what comes from the outside (presented as the guys entering the apartment) just shows a person unwilling to change her/s fate. Not asking for help is another symptom of this behavior. Bruises, than the blindness, is just what happens to a person not fighting the world. Not taking notice of the black spot on the wall (possibly signifying the danger) leads to nothing but death. And taking all of those entering the apartment with you is the point. Inevitably ending in complete decay in the end.

Its not Russia or any of their republics, it's Serbia
**** This review may contain spoilers****
I was really thrilled to see this show on air first thing, pilot was great, some of the next episodes were great, but 09 really blew it for me. They are using Serbian signs, language and logos to pose as Russian ones! Someone get someone from the language department or else this is going to hell! And as for the ten lines of text, this is the ten lines of text I need to type in for the review to be valid. And here is another lie of text and I think it should be valid now. Then I think about it, it already went to hell. So, why am I even writing this? You people need to learn about Europe. A lot. The tenth line of text.
