Iconoclast (2010)
What took the world so long to notice?
Boyd Rice has been doing his business for over 30 years. Although most people were introduced to him via his band NON, there is much more to Boyd Rice than noise music. In fact, there is a lot more. Here is a guy, who has lived his life enjoying all of his interests and fetishes. He has lived the American Dream and director Larry Wessel has captured this perfectly. The film, over 4 hours long, captures nearly every aspect of Rice's life and career. From his what subconsciously influenced his youth to his relationships with Anton Lavey and Charles Manson, Wessel has taken six years of his life to capture, carve, and release this amazing film.

Black Sun (1996)
Watch it without blinking
Boyd Rice's debut into the film world is a surreal attack on the senses. Although his process is unknown to myself, his imagery is much like the hand painted films of Stan Brakhage. It appears as if he painted a different swastika on each frame of celluloid. There are few color changes that happen which could have been how the light was interacting with the picture and could appear much differently as each print is played. The soundtrack is a very minimal Non(Rice's recording alias) style of music much like the songs 'Pillar of Silence' and 'Storm' from the album, "Blood and Flame". To an average audience, this film will appear boring, however I do believe there is an audience out there who will enjoy this piece by the legendary Boyd Rice.
Hell Hath No Fury (2006)
Not horrible, certainly on great
I first heard about this film last week while listening to a 2006 edition of Dead Pit Radio. They reviewed it and jerked off the special effects guy damn good. I found it on amazon for six dollars. Four days later I have it, I watched it, and now have this to say about it: I'm not too big into anthology movies. There are some good ones out there so don't let this film tell you any different. I enjoy the rape revenge films a lot. I am a huge of fan of "Last House on the Left" and "I spit on your Grave". The stories were good, but the wrap around story was terrible. It was really lame and didn't pull me in at all.
The acting is only bad because the director seems to be into 'being hip'. He picked 'hip' you actors and actresses for this film and it shows. This is not attacking the talent that any of these young up and comers at all. It just hurts the image of the film. There is a lot of nudity but it actually works since it deals with violent sex acts.
The special effects only shine on the segment called "Torched" with the blow torch on male genitalia that has been stuck with needles. The rest are pretty boring.
Overall it's a decent attempt. Rent or buy it cheap somewhere.
