Enjoyable show, enjoyable music!
13 April 2018
I saw a prior comment that said that this shows target audience is teenagers. I disagree. I'm 51 and I fully enjoy it. I did watch both Laguna Beach and The Hills back in their day... This show definitely Has that same feel. It was a little slow the first few episodes. But one I got to know the characters/cast a bit I was then fully invested and I look forward to it each week!

God's Not Dead 2 is even better than the first!!!
18 April 2016
Don't believe all of the negative reviews that are posted by haters of anything Faith based! You must see this movie for yourself and form your own opinion!!! It is a Christian movie so if that offends you just thinking about it then it's probably not for you. However for anyone that believes in God, this is absolutely worth seeing!

My husband and I enjoyed this movie even more than the first Gods Not Dead movie! It is very well written, well cast and very well acted. Melissa Joan Hart and Jesse Metcalf both gave amazing performances.

We enjoyed this movie so much that we saw it twice over a two week period! I will definitely be getting this for our movie library when it is available on DVD/BluRay.

Shot with a hand-held camera... Very Shaky Close Ups Were Annoying
14 March 2011
This entire movie appears to be shot with a hand-held camera... The constant very shaky close ups were annoying to say the least. We paid $36 for three of us to watch this in the theatre, and I wish we had gotten our money back. The movie starts off very slowly. For about the first 20 minutes it is boring boring boring... oh, and constantly shaking... so much jittery shaking of the camera that I felt like I was getting motion sickness. I kept having to look away from the screen to avoid getting dizzy. If you don't like this kind of filming, don't see it on the big screen. The story did get interesting from about half way through till the end, and the shaking wasn't as offensive when the shots were of things in the distance... But for the most part, we hated the way this film was shot. I would not see it a again, not even on Netflix. My recommendation is wait for DVD/blue ray. The shaking may not appear as severely on a smaller screen.

Romantic Feel Good of a story with a Sweet Ending
10 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Amy Adams is endearing in this roll... My husband and I spent last weekend seeing Avatar and Sherlock Holmes... This weekend it was time for something a little more my style, a chick flick. We both enjoyed this movie very much. It had something for everyone Surprisingly it was a fun romp across the countryside and it was so enjoyable seeing these two banter and squabble with one another while sensing the chemistry between them build and build. I loved the instigating done on the part of the train depot employee.... getting them together, staying at a place where they had to portray being married... funny stuff! I recommend everyone who likes to laugh and see a happy ending, go see this movie :)

Absolute BLAST... So Much Fun! Absolutely Worth Seeing!!!
7 May 2008
My husband and I (in our eary 40's) had a chance to see an advance screening of this movie. We went in thinking it would be cute but we didn't have much expectation.

Wow... what a BLAST. I couldn't believe how well the pairing of Ashton and Cameron worked... great chemistry and wonderful comedic timing. All of the rolls in this movie were very well cast. We laughed out loud along with the rest of the audience throughout the majority of the movie... There was never a dull moment! All the way till the end and even through the credits additional scenes had us enjoying this fun, relatively clean, lighthearted comedy. We plan on going to see this movie again and recommending it to everyone we know. Honestly this one is fun for all ages... something for everyone. This is the first movie in a long time that I could be happy to spend $10 to see (again and again)... DEFINITELY A MUST SEE!

Wonderful Surprise!!! Loved it.... Better than the First "Bruce Almighty"
6 July 2007
My husband and I almost didn't go to see this movie because of negative remarks/comments that we had read on this site. However, the other movie we wanted to see was sold out... so we decided to see this. I am so glad that we did! We liked it better than the first movie. This was a fun warm hearted clean family movie... It has a good message and was not offensive at all! This movie had a little less comedy than it's predecessor, but more of a story line. Morgan Freeman did another great job in the Role of God... Steve Carrol isn't someone who I always like as some of his roles are over the top and somewhat offensive... However, he was excellent in this role! I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone! If you are unsure, Go See It !!!

Very Well Done Movie!!! With No Political Agenda...
11 August 2006
We weren't sure whether or not we would want to see this movie. Oliver Stone is someone who's movies we don't usually agree with. After reading many of the reviews on this site, we decided to give this movie a chance.

It is a very impressive, well executed movie... with excellent acting, directing and editing!!! It is a movie that will remind you of that day, however, it is a movie about heroes, friendships and triumphs. Yes, there are points in the movie that you will tear up and even cry, yet there is also laughter at some points and there is a lot of positive throughout the movie even though it is was a time of crisis and horror surrounding the situation. The horror of that day does exist in the movie, however it isn't overplayed or too dramatic to watch.... Also, that is not the main part of the movie. The movie is based on the lives to two of the trapped survivors as they tell/recall what happened to them on that day.

The audience sat in awe watching the movie... nobody ever got up to leave their seats... and everyone was amazed at the end of how well the story was told. I've never seen the Theatre so crowded on a weeknight (almost at capacity)... and it was being shown on multiple screens at a big theater.

I do recommend all American's see this movie... as it pays tribute to the heroes and shows some of the good that came from the tragedy.

Fun and Lighthearted Movie that I recommend seeing...
6 August 2006
We had no plans to see this movie.... after having seen the previews, we were left thinking the entire movie would be full of offensive and crude humor. Bathroom scenes with disgusting bodily function sounds is not something we find entertaining or funny...

It was only after reading some of the reviews written on this site that we decided to give it a chance. The previews did show somewhat crude bathroom scenes and a few others that made us think this movie was mostly sick and disgusting humor.... when in fact, the few scenes that did contain that kind of humor were the one's shown in the preview... Other than those few scenes, this was a fun, clean, feel good movie, that shows us two guys (best friends) that both need to do some growing up... and the woman who helps them to grow up. Sure it was silly at times, but also heartwarming and enjoyable... My husband and I both enjoyed it! We recommend it to anyone who likes Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson. They both live up to the fun loving type of characters they usually play. Matt Dillon is also good in his role...

If you enjoy chick flicks and relatively clean movies, then this is a good choice. There are a few scenes that aren't clean, but nothing is shown, only implied... It is definitely a PG-13 movie... safe for teens and above.

Cars (2006)

Best Animated Movie I have ever seen!!!
18 June 2006
I went to this moving thinking okay... it's just going to be another silly cartoon. I found this movie to be the best animated movie I have ever seen. It was well written, was good clean fun, exciting at times and even had some romantic scenes... This movie has something for everyone... including good morals. At times we got so into the story that we forgot we were watching a cartoon with cars as the characters. The cars actually began to seem like real people with real feelings and emotions. The facial expressions were amazing. My husband and I both definitely recommend this to everyone... young and old! We will definitely purchase this when it comes out on DVD!

Constant Shaking of Camera Made us Feel Motion Sick!!!!
24 May 2006
The movie may have been good in the story line... however the camera was shaking so darn much, as if they were trying to make us feel like we were there, that we were getting motion sick and dizzy just watching the darn thing... I would have liked to see the entire movie, but felt awful trying to watch the shaky thing and decided to leave about half way through. My husband felt the same way and was more than happy to leave. We really did want to see it, but the constant jolting of the camera all over the place and the lack of focus through the lens made us so sick that we just couldn't handle it. I'm not sure how so many people gave it such a high rating. It was so poorly shot and edited that I can't recommend it!!! I did see a similar made for TV move that I did enjoy and did justice to that day and what those pasengers did. If you get motion sick ever, even in the slightest, don't see this movie!

Very Funny and Entertaining!!!
25 March 2006
I'm a little surprised that more people don't absolutely love this movie! It was incredibly funny.... We were busting out loud in laughter along with the rest of the audience during most of the movie! For the most part it was great entertaining comedy with a small amount of romance mixed in. Even my husband, who isn't normally a fan of S.J. Parker loved this movie enough to want to see it again with our teenage daughter. Everyone who was in the theatre with us (filled to near capacity) had a blast and was talking about how much they enjoyed the movie. The people who have given this movie such low ratings must not understand what it is to see a feel good romantic comedy. It may be a little predictable, but so what, they all are. My advice is to GO SEE IT... No matter what, it is full of unexpected, laugh out loud, funny moments and you will be entertained!

Spectacular Story and Incredible Scenery!!!
30 December 2005
This was an excellent movie! I was amazed that Disney did such a great job adapting the book into a feature film. The cinematography was incredible. This is a must see on a Big Screen, as the big screen allows you to see all of the amazing scenery and it's beauty up close. The casting for this film was absolutely perfect. The four children, being basically unknowns in the business, did a perfect job portraying each of the characters. Each of them is likely headed into wonderful acting careers. When I went to see the film, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the entire experience. I was familiar with the book, but wasn't sure how well it would adapt to the screen. I was more than impressed with it and feel that there is something in this for everyone! Christian or not, this movie can be enjoyed by all and has a wonderful heartfelt message. I highly recommend it and look forward to it coming out on DVD so we can add it to our movie collection. It is sure to be a classic.

Enjoyed this Movie Very Much... Kept me laughing till the end...
29 December 2005
This movie was very fun to watch. I'm not sure what so many people are complaining about. I'm glad I didn't read other peoples reviews prior to watching the movie. Of course all romantic comedies are somewhat predictable, yet they are still entertaining to watch. I thought the movie was very well cast and well acted! In fact I didn't see any need to improve on it. I watched the movie in a large theater that was nearly filled to capacity. The audience responses were all good, from laughing to cheering at times. As everyone left the theater, I heard many talking about how much they enjoyed it. Rumor Has It is a light hearted feel good kind of movie that most people will enjoy. Morally it has a few things I didn't agree with, however if you can get past that, it is very enjoyable. If you don't like "chick flicks" you may want to see something else, however if you like romantic comedies, this is a fun enjoyable movie and I do recommend it. I enjoyed it enough that I will purchase the DVD when it comes out.
