Violetta: La emoción del concierto (2014)
The fans will love it!
I think the film is AMAZING especially for the fans of Violetta. They have filmed their concert in Milan and added a few backstage shorts like Candelaria's birthday surprise for example. They have included ,I think, pretty much all the songs that have amazing choreography with them. There is also a bit of storyline and romantic moments between Leon and Violetta. It is funny at moments as well. It's pretty much the songs and doesn't include the drama in the series on TV. It's a great film and I think that even if you are not a fan of the series you will enjoy it :)
This is my opinion, I hope it helped.
Violetta (2012)
Amazing!
This is one of the most interesting shows I've ever watched! I've watched all episodes from season 1 and I'm almost done with season 2.
It has many characters which means more stories and they are all connected. And even though pretty much everyone lie in the show, the truth always comes out and the lie has consequences. Even if they are so much that it's impossible to hold on to all of them, it's a show and no one said that it's supposed to be really possible. And about Gregorio - he is supposed to be a weird and bad personality, but it can be funny if you think about it. I've actually had a Gregorio in my life (with dancing) and maybe that's why I don't find him weird. Even if Violetta has a typical love life it's only entertainment, but even if she is the main character she just hops around all the boys, but it's part of the storyline and what the whole show is pretty much about. The fact that they made kind of a different route to this classic story is what makes it interesting.
The acting seems like in every Disney show to me. Even if Ludmila's looks fake, that's the point and it even makes it funny. Everything that seems wrong in their acting is only part of their character.
The songs are AMAZING! Most of them are unique and you won't hear another one like them. The dancing is also great, but not as good as the singing.
This is my opinion. I hope it helped.
Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014)
Amazing! Didn't expect to be so wonderful!
I will say that this is one of the best animations I've watched in my life! I didn't think it will be so awesome! It combines the entertainment in time travel, history and I had a good laugh!
I wasn't expecting to be impressed, because it seemed like another story about time travel and after watching a few you get bored. But this was unique. Yet, in films I haven't seen anything different then a human making a time machine. Or using for something such as history studies.
They've put true historical facts in the film witch is great for the younger to learn something interesting. I believe that it can even turn the attention to children that think that history is boring or useless.
The humor is great! I haven't laughed like this since Despicable Me 2! And I don't find it as offensive humor either. It's also the perfect amount - not too less and not too much.
The fact that these things are mixed in one bowl makes them even better. They've shown a curious for knowledge child, who travels in time to learn something new with his father, who is a dog, and has a laugh with the happening events.
It also shows how two enemies that can't stand each other can become great friends. That is a voluble lesson for kids.
The characters are presented in a fun way. Mr. Peabody can do more than any normal human and makes great first impressions with that. The characters from the past are represented in a funny way, but the humor still keeps the historical event correct.
Unreal, funny, with knowledge and teaches you things about friendship. This is one of the many films that have impressed me with everything. That is why I give it a 10 stars rating.
This is my opinion, I hope it helped.
The Hunger Games (2012)
Could have been better
I've read the book after seeing the movie. At first I was quite impressed by the film, but after I read the first book I saw a lot of exciting moments missing in the movie. The haven't shown all of the excitement and adrenalin. After reading the book and re-watching the movie, there were scenes that became clear. What I mean is that without reading the book you might not even understand some scenes, especially the younger viewers.
I also think that most of the emotions weren't shown in the movie. The main characters were talking in a cold tone in the entire movie, not that they were smiling and laughing all the time in the book, but there were a lot of times when Katniss wanted to cry and she was hiding or waiting until dark, but in the movie she had the same face all the time. No emotions represented! Excluding the few moments on crying and fighting that just came out of nowhere. And they didn't show probably half of the moments when Katniss was hurt and trying to stay alive by heeling herself with what she knows, but instead they just send her the sponsor gift right away.
I can say that the storyline was well told, but they haven't focused on the important moment like the fake love story by Katniss and Peeta. They showed more of how they represented it then the fact it was an act all along. I didn't even understand it until I read the book. You can be impressed at first with only watching the trailer, but after reading the book you can see the connection between everything. Like Rue for example - in the movie she just spies on Katniss and out of nowhere she gives her advise and a few minutes later she dies. While in the book it's explained who Rue is, where she's from, what she knows, why Katniss is sad when she dies and how she thinks of her until the last rows of the last book.
Every story is like a puzzle, but in this movie the important pieces are missing and you can't see the picture. Same in the movie - they haven't made a clear and visible connection between the scenes and the story is unclear at times.
I also think that they've put the camera on a too big close up of Katniss. They did that not only because she is the main character, but in the book she is telling the entire story. But they could have shown more of the other characters - their training, their interview, etc.
This is my opinion, I hope it was helpful.
