The Iron Giant (1999)
Cried like the first time I watched it
I watched tgus movie for the first time when I was a little girl, after I don't know how many years I watched it again today, and I cried just the same. What a beautiful movie.
Running Wild (2017)
Meh.
Predictable and cliché.
Most of these conflicts were nonsensical.
The Society (2019)
Great if you're into political theory
It's actually really interesting to watch. I thought'd it'd be just another teen drama, but it's actually a lot more. I honestly don't care much if they find out why they're there, I'm much more interested in the creation of their state, how they go about writing laws, distributing resources, discussing gun control, democracy, police control, human rights, women's safety, etc.
Friends from College (2017)
Loved season 2!
I enjoyed season 1, while all the characters seem to be assholes, it was quite entertaining. Season 2 redeems the characters slightly, but now they kind of remind us of our own flawed selves. I laughed a lot and I wish this season had been longer!
Riverdale (2017)
Garbage, but really entertaining
Okay, let's be real, it's bad, it's so, so, so bad. It's so bad that it's actually kind of good. The plot makes no sense, there's nothing real about the characters and the writing is quite cringy. With all of that I can't keep myself from watching it. It's awful and I kind of love it. It's a guilty pleasure. If you've got time to waste, go for it.
Arrested Development (2003)
It was fantastic until Netflix ruined it
Seasons 1 through 3 are great, in every sense. Season 4 has a few good running gags, but I'd say over all the new seasons by Netflix are not good. I used to rate it a 9, but considering these new seasons, I lower it to a 7.
Nerve (2016)
Black Mirror?
It's not Oscar worthy, but it was quite entertainment. At some parts I was sitting on the edge of my seat covering my eyes. I could not be a watcher. (Would'nt be a player either for that case.) It reminded me of the series Black Mirror, which shows the dark side of life and technology... how technology can dehumanize humans. It's not my new favorite movie, but it did help me procrastinate for an hour and 40 minutes.
