Above decent movie
6 January 2024
Nothing too spectacular as there are several expedients taken from other classical movies; there's a mixture of already-seen elements but that's okay. You'll often find yourself wondering or remembering "where did I a very similar scene in the past?!" Anyways it wouldn't be the first movie to follow this path.

The characters are likable enough (some better like Kora/Artelais and Nemesis), some worse like the bad guys (no one can match a good villain like Darth Vader, just to mention one of the greatest).

Nevertheless it's a above decent ecent movie to watch, it keeps you entertained.

Definitely awaiting next chapter, which seems to be coming on Spring 2024.

UNBELIEVABLE that they cancelled this series!
28 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I don't manage to understand how in the hell they cancelled this series after just one season.

Each and every episode is catchy, compelling you to watch the next one and the next one after.

Fans deserved to see a follow up to the story of each and every character, especially after blackout #2. Shame on those who decided to cancel it. I see that in 2023 there are still people, like me, asking to know more. I wish the same cast could return though! Especially Christine Woods as Janis Hawk.

Really a shame not knowing more! I have definitely seen and keep seeing unworthy series pushed forward for years and years... And this one cancelled?!? Be serious!

Another network maybe could still take over and find a way to show us FlashForward s2.

Best things in life always finish!

It's a bittersweet movie. Nice to watch, although I couldn't have imagined how it would end

One of the most disgusting movies I've ever watched
30 December 2019
Honestly I was disgusted by snakes and repeated vomit scenes. Never gonna watch this one again. Maybe somebody is gonna like it the overall, not me.

Probably the best so far of all the series
3 December 2019
To me it is like the best of the whole series, including the new one. It has pathos, mystery, it is well done. I like it much. Everytime I watch it.

The movie that...

Makes you understand that you cannot always (ever) have what (who) you love and you have to live with it. A nice movie but with a bitter truth. Recommendable for a night when you don't know what to watch.

Disagree with the most of people
13 June 2019
I don't get why so many people are criticizing "X-Men - Dark Phoenix" and rating it so low! Have you watched the kinda flat "Captain Marvel" and see what they did? But worse of all, have you ever watched "Avengers Endgame", which first half is almost unbearable?! Have you watched that goddamn silly "Spiderman Homecoming"?! Well "X-M. D.P" is worth the watch! It isn't filled of stupid and total nonsense comedy and jokes. It is enjoyable, with good sequences. It doesn't have a nice soundtrack, unluckily ("The last stand" ruled, in this field). Still a very nice movie. Better than "Apocalypse", even better than the movies mentioned above! I admit I didn't much like Sophie Turner at first (ok because I was biased and was, and I am still, a supporter of Famke Janssen and her Jean Grey/Phoenix)... But she did a good job and I started to like her! I still love Famke's Jean, which will remain my all time favorite, but Sophie played her well and wasn't artificial. What I enjoyed in "The Last stand" version (along with Famke) is the fact that there was Wolverine in it, which gave more sense and was more accurate with the comics. One thing I appreciated more in this "X-Men Dark Phoenix", rather than "T.L.S." instead is the ending: much better in this latest movie of Kingberg. The character of Scott Summer is always annoying, whether it is Ratner's or Kingberg's movie, Cyclops is eternally not enjoyable. And surely the actor who played this young Scott is not comparable to Sophie Turner. Sophie as Jean is 3 feet higher, even literally. So kudos to Sophie Turner, I still love Famke Janssen, but who did this movie, to me, did a good job. I will rewatch it. I can't stand the very low ratings, honest!
