Grown Ups 2 (2013)

Make a sequel to a movie that failed
23 January 2018
Why not, well at least, I think you did not insult any other culture, in this one which is amazing because you seem to need to make fun of people and their quirks. The problem is, you talk to yourself in a mirror and you convince yourself that it is funny when reality it is not. You SERIOUSLY need to start consulting REAL comedians before you make another movie. What you think is funny is not. Hey, not picking on you but check the mirror, hit movie, Happy Gilmore, you made fun of yourself, Just Go With It, great movie great soundtrack, but the nose, do you think audiences are stupid, and you make fun of a musician with a goatee. Whenever you poke, you lose the movie, so pick on Americans and yourself, because your greatest successes have come from that. STOP pissing off cultures.

Hey, Adam how bout making and poking fun at your own culture
23 January 2018
Loved the movie up until you made a Canadian look like a jerk. I am a Canadian and I am personally offended by this representation of a Canadian. Running out of jokes Adam? You made a Canadian act like a girl and talk like an ass. I'll bet a million dollars he was an American actor. WTF is it with you? Russel Peters, Canadian comedian, he makes fun of his own race, why don't you take some advice from him. You want to make fun of race's, choose your own. I'm sure you can come up with a million, if you want I could help with that. Worked in a call center in Canada working for AT&T. Do you know why Canadians say eh? Because we did not understand what you said, and it sounds 10 times better than DUH? Which is what you say when you don't understand what was said. Let's see, eh? duh? What sounds better? DUH, DUH, DUH. Keep making movies where you insult other cultures, and your career will end real soon. maybe you should consult some REAL comedians, cause you are NOT one of them.

This movie is less than zero, if I could give it a -10, I would. Disgusting filth and Adam Sandler should be ashamed of even producing this crap. Let's throw semen around with grandma and make it funny, what the hell were you thinking, lets bang the teacher and have a son? What the hell ever happened to you? All you ever do is ridicule other nationalities and make fun of them and somehow you think your a God for doing it? Sure, go ahead, keep it up, see where you are soon. I have a beef with Adam Sandler and maybe this is not the place to do it, I'm sure. Stop portraying Canadians as idiots, you offend me any every person in Canada when you do it. As for the movie, burn it, cause its the worst garbage I have EVER seen on a big screen, shame on you.

A revision to my review, one scene gives me a problem. Why do Hollywood producers feel it necessary at all times to make sure the viewing audience knows that this was an American made movie. Putting Rihanna in a American swimsuit looking like something from a Hustler cover. Cut the American made movie crap already.

Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets

First all anyone that rated this movie less than a 10 have NO CLUE what they are talking about. This movie just became No. 1 on my list, above Avatar. yes, that is a hefty statement. I do have to admit, I had to watch it more than once. Why would you listen to me and watch this movie? It has stunning visual effects, but do the effects become more than the movie? No. I ask you this, all of you critics included, who would want to live on the planet Mul. Peace on earth, goodwill towards men.... A supreme race fighting to stay alive. Maybe all you critics have forgotten the REAL moral of the story. Ok, yes I'm told it's based on some comic book character or something. According to the book, they are supposed to already be married. The director chose a different option, which I loved but nobody does. If you watch this movie, everyone come to the same conclusion, bad acting, la de dah. No, it's not bad acting. The reason I had to watch it twice? The relationship between Valerian and Laureline is what keeps me watching. It is unorthodox to say the least, but when you watch it twice you begin to learn that he really does love her in a way I cannot describe. I can sum it up all in one scene. Love is the most powerful tool in the world, I'm not asking you to die, I'm asking you to trust me. This is a story about love, trust, caring for other races besides your own. All you people that wrote bad reviews, your not invited into my starship, because I would want nothing to do with you. What do mean there was a transporter accident?

Rip Tide

Very entertaining movie, actually enjoyed it up in till 10 minutes to ending. Love the scenery and Australian coast, makes me want to go there and actually sign up for surf lessons. That being said, you focussed the movie on modelling and fashion design, and that was your mistake. Really, watch the last 20 minutes of the movie and ask yourself this? You should know that fashion design in a swimsuit area, needs consulting from actual men. Ok, men, how many of you liked any of the swimsuits or the designs? Swimsuit fashion designs should be geared to men. Did you actually have any men screen those outfits and ask if they actually liked them. The swimsuit designs were atrocious, and really, the outfit she is wearing, do you really wear that on a beach? Let me guess, it's a Vercchai or whatever, shoot the guy that designed it, because not all designs work, and the dress she wearing I would throw in a garbage can and light it on fire. What a piece of crap. Sorry went off topic, 7 stars because the movie took me to a place I would love to visit, Australia.

Jem and the Holograms

I watched this movie not ever knowing it was based on a cartoon series. Maybe it should not be compared to the cartoon and be evaluated on its own merit. Ok, we can almost pretty much ignore the 1st 48 minutes. The truth about this movie is that I love 4 songs and it's actually the soundtrack that makes this movie a 9 for me. I love everytime these girls perform a song and the movie should concentrate on that. The first great song is 48 minutes in and called We Got Heart performed under what looks like a boardwalk, the next song is 55 minutes in called Youngblood and c'mon who in their right mind would not have loved to be at that concert in The Open Air Club. Awesome that performers can just grab a guitar off the wall and complete a performance. The most powerful performance comes at 1:13 into the movie called The Way I Was. Great lighting, and Aubrey Peeples can sing. Very powerful performance. Finally the last song at 1:43 into the movie called I'm still here. Someone tell me that you wouldn't have killed to be in the audience. I agree with another editor that said editing is needed. I agree. When you watch someone on stage performing do not branch off to Internet, showing clips, during the clips I find myself trying to listen to Aubrey Peeples sing the song. The Internet clips are all low quality anyway and tend to distract from the performances. I find myself FF through this movie just to listen to the performances and songs. Loved Molly Ringwold's performance, a mother or Aunt you would love to have.
