Perfect
11 January 2022
There is not a single scene or line of dialogue I could think to tweak that would improve this phenomenal series. It's absolutely perfect, and I honestly think every single person ought to at least give it a chance.

Phenomenal

I can understand the low rating, as I certainly didn't get what I was expecting. Instead, I got a an incredibly beautiful story with phenomenal performances, particularily from the lead actor. It's definitely worth a watch.

Clumsy and obvious
26 September 2021
The feminist message of the movie is not so much subtle and effective, as it is clumsy and thrown in your face constantly. It's a mess.

Nice cinematography though.

Great supernatural action movie
24 September 2021
The movie is actually really decent. The storyline, performances and everything is rivetting, it's a good movie. It's not a good horror movie though, there's not a single part in the movie that is the slightest bit unnerving.

Still worth a watch.

Eating gross stuff - the movie

No real plot or deeper meaning, just seeks to chok the audience. Hard pass

One of the greatest films ever made
21 October 2020
It's astonishingly smart, incredibly well acted by everyone involved, and extremely engaging, no matter how many times I watch it. And I do, at least once a year

Great adaptation

Considering how difficult the source material must have been to translate to a visual medium, they really knocked it out the park. Gruesome, trippy visuals and great performances. Worth a watch if you're a fan of cosmic horror

And doesn't have too many cringe moments, that comedy too often relies on making the shows painful to watch

Beautifully adapted, and Cavil is brilliant as Geralt, absolutely brilliant. I feared for this adaptation at first, for no good reason I see now

Wasted potential

Interesting premise, but let down but high school level editing. It's so bad it's distracting. Some decent performances

Slow

Too god damn slow. Nothing happens. Even when the characters move, they move unnaturally slow. Literally painful to watch

Eerie, claustrophobic, but demands attention to fully appreciate. A sprinkling of cosmic horror to boot

Those girls are way too hysteric all the time, it's distracting, and quite frankly, annoying to listen to

What the

These writers should all be fired. You would never send idiotic teenagers that start bickering the second they leave on such a crucial mission. You would not take a 1/10 chance of everyone dying to save some months on the trip when you have enough provision. You can't just assault your boss and take command when you disagree with a decision they make, and no way in hell the rest of the crew would stand for it, as the lot of them would be court marshalled. Didn't even finish the first episode, don't waste your time, this is a hard pass for anyone with a brain. Cgi is pretty bad too
