I was expecting some shocking revelation about why this woman caused this accident. Instead, I got....nothing. Well I got confirmation that she was both drunk and high and 2 different tests confirm that. I get her family not wanting to believe it but for real, it's time to believe it. You don't accidentally drink to a .19 while high. Suicide? We'll never know but I surely hope she wouldn't take all those kids and other innocent people with her. One thing that struck me and horrified me is the aunt revealing the dad never wanted kids and was mad his wife is dead and he has to raise his son alone. Nice way to add more trauma to this little boy. I didn't realize this was over a decade old so I hope that child has received enough therapy to be able to function as an adult.

There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane
(2011 TV Movie)
Not sure what the point is

Warning: Spoilers
I'm still irritated at this episode
17 July 2022
If this isn't the epitome of teaching kids there are no consequences to your actions, I don't know what is. Underage drinking, getting caught when you KNOW the consequences is 100% legit reason for revocation of privileges. I get angry every time this episode comes on.
Closed for Storm

A decent look at an abandoned park
10 July 2022
What I don't get is that of these filmmakers weren't trespassing, why film inside at night with flashlights. It was really annoying not to be able to better see the storm damage.
It's always shocking to see footage of the storm damage no matter how many you see it.

Love the books .DESPISE the series
5 November 2021
VR is probably my favorite series I've read. I loved every single book. I'm not one that gets too upset when a movie deviates from the book, it happens. I despised the Hope character so much that I couldn't even make it all the way through season 1.
I love this show but....

Be warned.....
7 October 2021
This is a TOUGH episode to watch. I had to skip forward multiple times when they were detailing how this guy killed a few horses. I'll never ever understand how anyone can willingly harm an innocent animal. What a despicable human being.
Amanda Knox

Nothing you didn't already know
4 October 2021
There was nothing new here. If you paid even a little bit of attention while it was happening, you already know everything. I don't *think* she's guilty but she's certainly *off*. If she's guilty, well then she got away with it and will certainly pay the price down the road when judgement day comes around.

Good, typical Hallmark-y type romance
5 August 2021
While this is a nice, decent series (I'm about 7 eps into series one), I'm struggling with the grandmother, Dianne Ladd's character. She is BEYOND annoying. Otherwise, it's very decent, if not typical of what Hallmark does.
Save the Last Dance
(2001)
Entertaining but not great
31 July 2021
I honestly don't know why Julia Stiles was cast in this. She seriously cannot dance and it shows. Never in a million years would someone of this caliber get into Julliard. They wouldn't even get an audition. For me it really takes a way from the movie. But let's face it, this was never going to be great anyway.
Broken Harts

What a tragic story
30 July 2021
As expected, this documentary is HARD to watch. The lives these kids led is horrific. What also makes this hard to watch is the racism accusations that just aren't proven. To me, this is a woman (Jen) with severe mental health issues that were well hidden, a woman's partner (Sarah) who to me is a battered wife, controlled and doesn't know how to get out. I don't believe Sarah was a co-conspirator in the deaths, I think it was Jen. Irrelevant now. I think the "system" failed these kids, just like it fails kids every day all day long all over the country but racism? Nope. Not buying it. I think those kids would have been abused, neglected and ultimately killed no matter their skin color.

Great Docu leaving many questions
29 July 2021
I thought this was really well done. Sure, it might have been a little long, but aren't they all? The questions this raises is astounding. Just when you're pretty sure you know the truth, bam! Another bombshell is dropped. There's literally not one person who is trustworthy in this saga. Including her family. Is she alive? Is she dead? It's very likely we'll never know the truth.
Who Killed Garrett Phillips?
(2019)
Good but incomplete
15 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this convinced Hillary didn't do it, convinced that nasty racist cop DID...but honestly? I don't know. It's very obvious this docu was 100% one-sided and the makers FULLY intended to convince us of Hillary's innocence and highlight the racists aspects of this community. What they failed to do was examine WHY the family is so convinced Hillary did it. And that Jones guy? He's shady AF!! Maybe not guilty, but shady AF nonetheless. So after watching in full and sitting with it for a little while, I'm not 100% convinced of anything. I've been where this family is and cannot imagine not having definitive answers. My heart breaks for them.
Murder on Middle Beach
(2020)
FANTASTIC!
14 July 2021
My heart goes out to these kids who endured the murder of their mother. While they still don't have definitive answers, in my opinion it's pretty clear who is responsible. I hope one day Madison and his sister get the justice their mom deserves. And when they do, I hope he makes episode 5!
Horrific stories
21 June 2021
I can hardly stomach these stories. I'm literally filled with rage at these parents and men who took advantage of these GIRLS. I am disgusted they scratched out their photos in pictures. Show them! Name them!!!!! SHAME THEM!!!!
Laugh out loud funny!
16 June 2021
For real. I literally and honestly laughed out loud multiple times. How anyone can have "their breath taken away" by a blob of color on canvas is beyond me. Furthermore, paying over $8 mil for that? You get what you deserve when it's fake. The docu itself is done fine. It was interesting, even to someone who can't stand what most consider art. These people are so pretentious, it makes ones stomach roll.
The Lost Husband
(2020)
Good, but lacking so much
28 April 2021
I really feel this should have been a multi part series. It ended SO abruptly. I liked it, it wasn't too "Hallmark-y" and mushy but seemed to just sort of scratch the surface. A 6-8 or so part series would have been so much more satisfying.
