Grease (1978)
10/10
I don't care what anybody says---this film is SPECTACULAR!
22 January 2014
This movie came out when I was just 1, and I'm amazed by the hate reviews it got. For those of you that hate this, you need to know this: (1) It's a MUSICAL, so what do you expect? In a MUSICAL, people are expected to sing and dance when they're supposed to because it's called ACTING. It's not supposed to be a real thing. (2) Everyone in the movie can act and sing, and that goes to John Travolta too. (3) At least it's not the same thing as High School Musical. What lesson do you think HSM teaches you? Grease teaches you that love is all about making sacrifices for the other person, because that's just what love is. Those of you that hate this are completely missing the point of what it truly is about. Maybe next time when you see a film, watch the WHOLE thing first and then you can judge so you don't look like an idiot. Great storyline, great acting/singing/dancing. At least I'm pretty lucky to have a film like this come out during my time.

The Golden Girls (1985–1992)
10/10
Epic, classic comedy!
9 January 2014
I grew up with this show, and I must say, it is pure golden! First of all, the relationship between the four women is absolutely stunning (I wish all friendships were like that in real life). Four beautiful, elderly women reminisce about their past lives and past romances/relationships with men, old friends and all that other stuff while dwelling in a home in Miami (I wish I could go to Miami now!) The lines are funny and/or bitterly sarcastic, and I love how Rose just blurts out funny, random stories of her life in St. Olaf. Unfortunately, there are no TV shows like this nowadays. Not even a not-so-good "sitcom" like Marvin Marvin could ever outshine this beauty of a TV series.

Saved by the Bell (1989–1992)

A 90's girl surely would have enjoyed this!

I was 12 years old when this show first aired on television in 1989, so I clearly remember watching it. The characters were interesting, and I have to admit, I've always had a small crush on Zack. For some reason, I find him to be the funniest out of all the others, chasing after his dream girl (Kelly) and all that other stuff. Up until now, I still continue watching this show, which brings me back to my youth and fashion in the last two decades. Unfortunately, there are no other TV shows like this nowadays, but then again that is something my husband and I would always refer to as "the evolution of television." This show is truly amazing, and anybody can watch it. You may not like it, but if there's one thing for sure that I want you to know, it most certainly is nothing at all like those reality shows that we now have.

Enchanted (2007)
10/10
A very beautiful and warm-hearted film of the 2000s!

As a believer of true love and love at first sight, I was fascinated by the beauty, magic, charisma, and that warm feeling it gives off. This movie teaches you that life is not always a fairytale, and there isn't always an "happily ever after," especially when it comes to falling in love. Believe me, there is always someone out there for everyone, so if you watch this film you'll realize that you shouldn't give up hope if you don't find love. Instead, let love find you at the right place, right time, right moment and with the right person. Sure, not all movies that come out these days are the best, but this one is just perfect and has nice acting and incredible singing by Amy Adams. I recommend this to anybody.
