Nope (2022)
Can anyone please...?
Can anyone please explain how the chimpanzee part was crucial to the story and how it DID tie together an ANUS-LIKE alien, or what the hell was this about?
Did I miss something?
Also please remind me NOT to watch anything Jordan Peel is involved in.
("Get Out" was pretty good, though...)
Anyways, to me it was a complete waste of time. Really it is NOT a movie, it is an Anus Story about nothing.
I know it's chaotic, but sorry! So this BS is.
It doesn't connect - beginning and end, unless I am THAT stupid.
The top story has NOTHING to do with the ending
- unless I missed something.
So did I?
This was a pure waste of my time.
I give it zero, and because I can't do that here, in IMDB, then I give it ONE.
And I WAS warned...
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
What is this?
This show is an utter garbage.
I laugh most of the time not because of the show's quality or of something funny on-screen.
I laugh because this is all so pathetically laughable.
The dialogs, the actors' acting, the action - all of it is a JOKE.
I've been waiting for the moment the show will present Ben as poor gay and then promote lgbt ideology throughout at least ONE episode.
This will be the final nail to "Obi-wan Kenobi" serires' coffin.
Nightmare Alley (2021)
Oh, no.. what a waste of time.
Why the first part had to last over an HOUR?
This could've been wrapped in ten minutes short and the whole movie would've lasted one hour and a half, total.
But no: this way I lost two hours and thirty minutes I will never going to get back.
This movie is totally about NOTHING.
I dislike every bit of it.
It is nicely done , I admit - as a story about nothing.
Blacklight (2022)
Eraser jumped the shark
Seriously, what that CRAP! Wa about?
Started pretty good, immediately reminded me of Eraser with Schwarzenegger.
That was twenty something into the movie, time wise.
Later: nothing and when I say nothing I mean NOTHING glued. Nothing.
What a waste of time.
I could've and should've read a book.
Would/Should HAVE not Would/Should OF.
Mind your own freaking language.
Moonfall (2022)
Uhmm....
What the hell was I just watching?
While the story seems to be great and actually it is, the character development is non existent, especially Sonny.
Some plots are thrown in just for a sake of throwing it in - makes no sense whatsoever.
I give it 3, and ONLY because of the effects - the total execution is sooo weak I want to, and I will, erase these 2 hours from my memory.
Don't Look Up (2021)
I know it is a pastiche...
...and so called "elite"'s laugh right in the faces of the small people, right in my face, which was cheeky and insolent - still, the movie was so freaking boring.
The last six or seven minutes, though, were the best!
Drama-wise and comedy-wise at the same time.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Going back to roots.
I am a huge fan of the two films that were created by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd.
I didn't bother to watch anything in between the GBII and the Ghostbusters with the ladies. No offence to their talents and I love 'em on SNL - the movie SUCK ass. The ONLY good thing about it was the presence of some of the original characters in form of cameos.
The new movie is kinda okay from the start but then it goes down the hill.
No emotions, no character development.
In GB and GBII after 90+ minutes you felt you knew the characters all their lives, you grew with them, you learnt with them.
Here - suddenly a kid sits at the wheels of the nehnehe-ride and know ALREADY what to do, so does his sister operating the backpack of (hell if I can name it even for this text :) ) the Ghostbusters.
Won't even mention the Zuul and (the other one) moments. That was pathetic.
It was heartwarming, though, to see the character of Egon resurrected and literally see Harold Ramis - as a spirit - in his 70+.
Also seeing the living cast of the original movie, however creepy it sounds, was a funny and VERY enjoyable thing to experience.
Summing this up, the ride is a fun for someone who did not grow up with the characters of the Ghostbusters' movies. Mellow yet still: fun.
It's a joke and an insult to the fans.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Never played this GAME
Maybe it was a feel of the Game and the Gamers, don't know, never played it.
As the prequel of the movie, one from 2002 - which was great! - this one is a joke.
I so hoped to enjoy this.
Popcorn was in place.
Then - No, sorry.
That was a C-.
Horrible. HORRIBLE.
Almost an Angel (1990)
Excellent flick with Down Under vibe.
As a movie-freak I don't have a strict list of "My Top Ten" or something like this. I love movies and I plenty of top-tens, depends on the genre and my mood.
As far as a comedy with smart message, today this movie is number one in my Top Ten Ever.
I remember while in Australia one of the very first movies I rented there from a VHS/DVD rentals was this one.
Heartwarming comedy that will make you laugh and also cry.
To me - this is an absolute masterpiece.
Invasion (2021)
What is it about?
The first episode was quite okay.
Now, three episodes further this story has NOTHING to do with the first episode.
More, three episodes further the story takes you nowhere.
To me: a complete WASTE OF TIME.
My wife likes it, so I guess I am going to watch this crap.
The Ice Road (2021)
Thriller on ice
I really, really LIKED this movie, so did my wife.,
Part of it keeps you biting your fingernails, part of it wants you cheer for the bad guy to finally die.
One of the BEST thrillers I have watched in a looooong time.
Without Remorse (2021)
Was this movie a joke?
Up until the plane moment I was expecting a good twist and an action flick
Right then - the shot down plane scene - I KNEW this was gonna turn into shooty crap with no sense, whatsoever, and I was right.
I was still hoping to see the twist at least in last moments of the movie. Nope.
And the minute-part after the credits, when the main character speaks about leading a new group - that one left me speechless with my jaw dropped to the floor.
Horrible. Horrible.
The Walking Dead: Home Sweet Home (2021)
What in hell....?
This was the most idiotic, boring and simply stupid episode.
I hated every second of it.
This is the episode that jumps the shark, half of it is plain stupid, rest is boring.
I am truly surprised the show still have an audience.
I am out, for sure.
Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992)
Complete and utter garbage.
I remember watching it back in the day it was released and remember it was crap but didn't realized it was such a big crap!
I survived, barely, half of it, until "Ripley" is saved by the ... ghost hunter(?).
How does that connect to the Waxwork, which, with all its cheeziness, I still love and adore even after watching it again two days ago?
How does the story of Waxwork continues in ridiculing classics of that era (even though it was filmed less than a decade of those high-gross motion pictures)?
I don't know and I don't think anybody does.
I read there was a third installment of this franchise in planning.
Dear God, thank you it never happened.
Henry's Crime (2010)
It IS slow, yet it is not bad, because it is... different.
The title of my post says it all.
The movie IS different.
I was hoping for other ending yet, seeing its conventions, I wansn't surprised it did not meet my expectations.
I don't mind "slow" movies as long as ithey go somewhere.
This one goes somewhere, not where I wanted it to go, though, but still it goes.
Other viewers praised the role of Vera Farmiga - personally I did NOT like her performance here, playing "stiffy" actress she was all way too stiffy for my liking.
Other notes:
I get this was all the romance yet I was hoping for the boom! at the end, like the bad guy (Fisher from the Cat series) gets what he deserves.
That never happened.
All in all, I give it SIX.
Different, kinda boring, yet WAY better than most of the movies I have watched in the past 30 months.
Radioflash (2019)
What was that about?
After seeing this cinematic masterpiece my wife and I sat quietly for a moment and then looked at each other with question shouting from our eyes: WTF was that?!
The movie starts off pretty good.
SPOILER
After initial scene with the room being flooded and VR skills of main character being shown - which has completely NOTHING to do with the rest of the flick, by the way - the rest starts off as a regular disaster movie.
Until the trip and the accident.
Then everything goes down the drain. Everything.
No action - the old man talks about whatever. Man is killed. Girl is runnng.
Then we have "Hills have eyes" in the woods. The girl escapes. Granpa helps...
Last 30 minutes I had to fast-forward - watching this physically hurt me.
Title and the premises of the movie have nothing to do with the actual "action".
One of the worst flicks - if not THE worst - I have ever watched.
Paranoia (2013)
Horrible, horrible!
At 44th minute my wife asked: is THIS going somewhere? At this time I kinda expected the movie to start rolling and the action to be taken a level higher than Enemy of the State with Willis and Hackman.
Never happened.
Spoiler: was "someone is always listening" to be the highest action of the movie? I don't know whether the main character was supposed to be like that but this idiotic smirk on his face throughout the whole movie was really, really annoying.
Summing this up, and this is only my own private opinion - that was one of the worst flicks in the entire cinematic history. Simply horrible.
