Days Gone (2019)
Is it the most underrated game ever
In my opinion of playing games for 30 years is that this is the most underrated game I have ever played in my life. The visuals, the voice acting the story absolutely suck you in to the world. Very good gameplay. Not like any post apocalyptic world game. It hasn't a different feel from the off, keeps you on the edge in some tense missions. Th main thing with this game is the storytelling, it's brilliant with very likeable characters and it's very well acted out by the cast. The kind of game you could piece the cut scenes together and make a movie out of and watch and say that's better than 99% of movies being made today. Great game and it would be criminal if they don't make a sequel considering the money they throw at bad bad titles.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Awful, shambles, mess. Ruining characters created by another
Where do I begin. Let's start with the visuals. Sometimes you can tell it's had hundreds of millions spent on each episode and other times it looks like a cheap effort of a show that should be on the history channel. Then the diversity, talk about representation. Now it just makes Sauron even more evil because he clear killed all the dark skinned elves humans and dwarves in the coming battles seeing as they no longer exist when Frodo goes on his long walk. Then the strong female characters...we get it women can fight too but let's make it realistic, why is the florist killing orcs so easily. If this is the case why does anyone even care about Sauron and his army, they should be laughed at...oh it's okay everyone he only has orcs...send the florist's. The possibly the most unlikeable character in anything ever Galadriel. We're going to make her a fierce warrior... forget that she stays well clear of anything in the other two trilogies, she got involved and did what her character was written for, not now, now we are going to make her the most fierce driven always right about everything warrior in the land...who obviously gives up on life and could not be bother to even lift a finger in the battle with Sauron or to help Frodo. The dialogue, ugggghhhh like it's been created by a five year old in school. I'm losing the will to live with these once great franchises being absolutely ruined, stamping all over what made them great in order to shove some political message down our throats. Whatever happened just making TV shows and movies to entertain.
Inside Man (2022)
Awful. David Tennant is better than this tosh
I couldn't get even onto episode two. The usual badly written drivel in today's modern writing where the majority of the males in the show are hopeless, idiotic morons that can't think for themselves without absolutely destroying the very existence of everyone and everything around them...starts off with a touch of toxic masculinity. Loser nerdy tory tof boy bullying and harassing some women on a train, do any other heroic men step in and tell this dweeby runt to get lost...noooooo why would they only women help women instead all the women on the section of the train get together and make a fool of the would be bully, the words toxic masculinity pop up. We get it. The decision made by Tennants character are decisions no other human on earth would make in any circumstances and unfortunately if he doesn't the writer couldn't think of any other way to progress their plot...and this is just episode one. It just leaves anyone with a shred of common sense thinking what the actual F is this that I'm watching.
Resident Evil (2022)
Netflix wonder why the share price is plummeting
Albert Wesker an iconic character in the series with a very distinct appearance. Get rid of that we have quotas to fulfill so we can say we are down with the progressive. Oh and the story is absolutely dull as dishwater.
Outer Range (2022)
Starts off intriguing but never picks up
Started off having you think, I think I'm goiyto like this. An episode goes by, then another and another and you're on episode 5 realising nothing has happened since episode 1. It's 8 episodes long with 6 episodes of filler.
Boring as hell.
Uncharted (2022)
Bland at best
Poor storytelling, would have been better as a series. It's a poor adaptation. The casting is awful, Holland as much as I like him is a terrible Drake and Wahlberg is probably a worse Sully. All in all its boring and a disappointment. You'll find yourself nodding off in the first twenty minutes.
The Lost Daughter (2021)
A film about a terrible mother
The critics will say a load of tosh about how great this is. Save yourself a few hours, it's about a terrible woman who hates being a mum and it shows, she's also a massive Karen.
The worst thing is the runtime, it'd probably be more acceptable if it was cut in half and why everyone thinks the lead actress looks young gir her age is beyond me I thought she was in her mid 50d at best.
Stay Close (2021)
I'd give it zero if I could
Terrible story, uninteresting and unbelievable characters. Watched all the way in the end just to laugh at how daft it was.
Ken and Barbie a couple of assassin's that couldn't possibly attract more attention to themselves if they tried.
Vipers strip club where they used to work, ran away new identity apparently a five minutes drive to Vipers.
Eddie Izzard character randomly a heroin addict.
It's mental garbage.
