Another 48 Hrs. (1990)
The boys are back in town
To many people another 48 hours is a like a remake of the original. I can see why they would think so. many of the scenes are just like the ones in the first movie. However I believe it had a new plot being to catch a mysterious criminal known as the Iceman. I thought it had a great twist on who was the main bad guy after all. The end shootout was one of the best in the action movie history. There were also some good comedy scenes between Murphy and Nolte. Andrew Divoff does good as Ganz brother. Murphy's scene in the bar however is bad and does not even come close to the original. In my opinion this was a good action/comedy sequel to a classic original.
It (1990)
Everything you ever were afraid of.........................................................
This is indeed one of my favorite horror movies ever made. I first saw the film when I was 12 years because my mom never let me rent until that night at the rental store. OK It i was exited because i always wanted to see this movie. The first scene shows the clown under the white clothes that people hang outside to dry right. Then you hear him laugh and then you see his smile. OK I don't like clowns so it creep me out a bit. Then it shows him again with this very unpleasant face. then he takes her. The second scene that scared the crap out of my brother was when the older brother bill looks it the book looks at his dead little brothers school picture it winks and blood comes out of the photo. Pretty freaky stuff i tell you. There is so much more great scenes from this TV film. The child actors were excellent and so were the adults( best of all Young Jonathan Brandis and John Ritter)The only real bummer was the ending . Come on a spider honestly i wanted to see them fight the clown again. Oh well thats Stephen King. Great movie all in all definitely recommended. Not enough horror for nightmares however
The Amityville Horror (1979)
AHHHHHHH.....................not
Probably one of the worst horror movies ever made it was really bad. There were some parts I did not even understand. The first time I saw it we could not stop laughing about how bad it was. The scene with the flys was just stupid and messed up. The film was overall the film bothered me. See it just for laughs. Its seems pretty bad that someone would actually want to make a movie that really happened to real people. The real event had nothing to with a haunted house. It sort of explained that in the beginning. Sorry to the people who actually like this film but it sucked big time. I would advise horror fans to skip this one.
The Shining (1980)
All work and no play makes jack a dull boy.................................
The best horror film ever made. I have probably seen this film about twenty times and it is great. Jack Nicholson was the best in this movie and was meant for the role. The film contains some of the most memorable lines and scenes. The scent were the two dead daughters scared the hell out of me. The bath tub scene grossed me out and was scary. Of course the best part of all HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEREEEEES Johhny! Scatman Crothers played very good as the main chief of the hotel. Through out the film you can see Jack getting crazier and crazier. I will not forget the bartender Lloyd(Joe Turkel). Great horror film to see. IT so much better than its remake because there so much different.
Die Hard (1988)
You don't screw with John Mclane
One of my all-time favorite movies ever. Bruce Willis was the best choose for the role of John Mclane. The action of this film was excellent and pure entertainment. Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) was a great villain for this movie. The movie also contains some of the best lines such as yippe-ki-ya and you know the word that comes next. Also Andreas Wisnieski appeared playing one of the terrorist. Definitaly one of the best action films ever made. The fight scene with Willis and of terrorist who's name was Karl(Alexander Gondunov) was great despite the fact I don't get how he could survive all that beating actually I can believe that. Definitaly a great movie for action fans
