Tenet (2020)
Good at first watch, just don't over think it
If you're just looking for a good spy thriller film, then Tenet is good enough to get you entertained for a good two hours. If you're into completely understanding the film, then you need to watch this multiple times. The main concept of their time travel idea is somehow too complicated for people who just want to enjoy a film.
Analyzing the concept of the time travel this movie keeps explaining thoughout the film is not a good use of most people's time. Christopher Nolan needs to understand that most people just want to enjoy the film as it is. We're not here to understand complicated concepts - if we do, we'll just enroll to a physics class.
Subtitle is needed to watch his film because for some reason, Christopher Nolan thought music is much more important to hear than the dialogues.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
DC Just Don't Know How to Do It
Just when we thought DC finally got the superhero formula right, in comes Wonder Woman 1984.
The final battle - a boring monologue from Wonder Woman. I swear, even Gal Gadot
got bored.
Jackie Chan Adventures (2000)
One of the most entertaining cartoons you'ss ever watch
Jackie Chan Adventures is one of the funniest, and one of, if not the most entertaining cartoons you'll ever watch. Every scene is either action-packed or comedy-packed. Jackie's figth scenes, the slaps stick comedy by Uncle, and Jade's constant interfering make this cartoons a fun and enjoyable ride.
Definitely better than all the animes I ever watched.
Mulan (2020)
A Beautiful Story
A beautiful legend with a touching storyline. The acting, production, and directing are very good. Some scenes will definitely touch your heart.
Yes, I believe it's better than the animated version. Some hate about this movie are probably not in the quality but in the $30 price tag on Disney+. I'm expecting improvement on ratings once it becomes free on December.
Gotham (2014)
Okay in some point, annoyingly long, annoyingly slow
I've been binge watching this show on Netflix right now. The storyline is okay, but each season feels painfully long and painfully slow. I think a 16-18 episodes per season could've told the entire story arc they wanted to show, removing all the painfully slow story progressions from 4-6 episodes.
I really wanted to give this show an 8, but man, it's hard to give it an 8 once the filler episodes start to kick in. Also, villains keep on dying and being resurrected everytime is such a pain to watch. They are just making a fool of the audience.
To be fair, the acting is good accross the board.
If you're into psychopath villains, this one is for you. I was never really a fan of such villains, but this show really changed my mind. Most of their villains are well written, to the point that I liked them more than the heroes - Penguin, Riddler, Barbarra, and Dr. Strange and awesome villains.
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
I never expected it to be this good
It took me two months before finally deciding to watch this film because of the "critics' rating". Guess what, I really liked it.
This is one of the best films I've seen in the past three years. It's a very good film.
Cursed (2020)
A lot left to be desired
Had to remove my initial review after I finished watching season 1.
Once you get past episode 2, it gets a little better - still not in the level of Game of Thrones, but it's not that bad. I can see a lot of people to appreciate this show.
I'm still hoping for improvements for season 2 - particularly the storyline.
Nacho Libre (2006)
An enjoyable no-brainer
This movie is just as funny the now as it did back in 2006. Jack Black's delivery is hilarious - as well as his co stars. Lots of funny scenes be it corny at times, but hey, it made me laugh.
