Kid vs. Kat (2008)
Lamest. Cartoon. Ever.
Don't you see? Kid vs Kat is only a copy from other shows. Aliens, a kid who discovers the alien, the alien tries to kill him but he can't, and the obvious irony of Coop family whom doesn't know what's going on, blaming Coop for all the disasters made by the alien. I've seen that before on a familiar movie from E.T. the Movie and in so MANY shows. As I say, this isn't original. Just don't watch this cartoon. Its humor stinks as hell! And some characters are terribly annoying. I prefer watch South Park than this. I really dunno how it became one of the most popular series, maybe because of their stupidity.
If anyone wants to see quality cartoon, I recommend you Jimmy Two-Shoes Season 1, Gravity Falls, Regular Show, Wayside School, Galactik Football or even Spiderman TAS '94 or the first seasons of SpongeBob, but not this garbage.
Sanjay and Craig (2013)
Don't you see it's just a poor copy?
The show is gross, the humor is so horrible and the animation is VERY, VERY similar to Regular Show, The World of Gunball and Gravity Falls. Simply, their talk lines are LAME and boring. I don't know how this show attracts too much attention. Fans saying that those shows reminds to past cartoons are fake: neither this or these shows are familiar with olddies.
Those shows are pure garbage. Please, DO NOT WATCH THIS. Better watch something else, like I don't know, first season of Jimmy Two-Shoes (not the 2nd, that was nuts), Regular Show or Gravity Falls? They're much better that this sh*t. Nowadays, TV is just the place you don't want to turn it on.
The Mighty B! (2008)
Worst show of its time, and still worst show of 2010s
I'm 15 and a half right now. When this show came up, I had... 10 years? I was watching cartoons in Jetix and Nick (the main channels in Latin America. Yes, Jetix was a channel. RIP) when an ad of this show was set to air. I was like I couldn't believe how much garbage this show had to feature when it finally set on TV. When the show premiered circa July 2008, I was in shock. The protagonist is very, but i mean, VERY annoying, and so its voice. Entire episodes were crap, the plot was nonsense, voices were TERRIBLE, and I don't know how nor why, the graphics of the show made me sick. I stopped to see that piece of garbage, with only 2 days of episodes watched.
Nickelodeon, you failed as a channel with your new shows. If you won't change, you'll finish like Disney Channel, or even worse.
Jimmy Two-Shoes (2009)
The best show of the late-2000s, but have declined terribly after Season 2
(If you're a Kid vs Kat fan who possess many sock-puppet accounts - such as beartyrone1, CoopBurtonburguer11 and bryleelewis11, who only thinks your show is the best Canadian cartoon of them all, don't read my review. You're only less than a 13-year-old fanboy)
Jimmy Two-Shoes is the mix of happiness and madness. You won't see a story like this show has for a very long time. Its sense of humour is very unique compared with other shows (specially on Season 1). I think this is the last animated series ever made with this 2000s style that have characterised cartoons for a very long time.
The characters aren't annoying nor repetitive like some shows (Kid vs. Kat a little, Fish Hooks neutral, and Breadwinners would be the worst example) and, thus, they properly connect with the main idea of what each episode offers to the viewer. This animated series is a truly treasure for TV, because it appeals with kids and adults at the same time. The voices of the characters are perfectly casted, as you would believe they are just normal people inside a screen.
I'm surprised why so much people labelled this series as some sort of SpongeBob copycat. The main protagonists of 'Jimmy Two-Shoes' are a little bit dumb, but they have a unique mission to do: make happier the citizens of Miseryville, the city where they live; on the other hand, Spongebob's own topic-as-a-show doesn't make sense and has really diverged over the past ten years. Heloise, the leading female protagonist, appears as a character who changes her behaviour all the time, from being very evil and mean (as a mad scientist with no mercy) to occasionally friendly (sometimes with Beezy —Jimmy's best friend —, often with Jimmy), or even to being so much lovely to the protagonist (Jimmy Two-Shoes) because her having a crush on him, notorious when you start getting into mid-Season 1. This haven't been seen on SpongeBob since its premiere (Sandy isn't in love with SpongeBob nor its evil), or on many shows in 2000s and current cartoons (considering the 3 characters are the main protagonists). Lucius Heinous the Seventh would be the antagonist of this show, and his role is making people of Miseryville even more miserable, or being bothered by Jimmy's happiness. Lucius role doesn't connect to Squidward, who is seen as an angry, depressive character to the point of getting full- annoying, who doesn't have an important role in the show, instead of being constantly bothered by SpongeBob and Patrick. Jimmy's concept is that of an happy-go-lucky boy who finds fun and joy even on the worst scenarios, in the most miserable and desolate place on Earth, spreading his happiness all over the city. This makes the show special, as the thematic in every episode of the show follows this trajectory. As I repeat: you'll never see a show with this concept for a very long time, at least not in the near future. There were many fans of this animated series around the world that would've wished this series to continue, because of the way "Jimmy Two-Shoes" and his friends act, in a very special way.
But every show in which its humour is good, have to decline sooner or later. That happened with this cartoon. I mean, the artists who had drawn Jimmy and the other characters in Season 2 did a very regrettable job, since the sketches were terribly done, the humour started to suck and the behaviour of the protagonists were falling down from the very first episode of that season. The new expressions of the main characters became exaggerated, and so their attitude, to the point of being seriously annoying. The series started to have no actual plot, these episodes were now consisting on lame jokes and improvised stories with no connection nor continuity to Season 1. This can be seen on Season 2 Episode 1, "Dance, Jimmy, Dance". It slowed down so bad it had to be cancelled, and the worst part is that Disney wanted to kill that show. In other countries where Jimmy Two-Shows aired as a third- party show on other networks instead of Jetix and Disney XD, (non-original channels that aired this were Nickelodeon in Latin America, Cartoon Network in Australia and Southeast Asia) or even some Disney's feeds (Disney XD in Poland, Turkey, Middle East and Africa, and Disney Channel in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Russia) Season 2 hasn't even aired at all, due to the bad dub Disney gave to the series in those countries, also considering the decision of low ratings the show had in most of the mentioned territories (thanks to the bad luck Jimmy Two-Shoes had because of premiering shortly before and after the Jetix rebrand to Disney XD/Disney Channel, making it a cartoon with very mixed reviews from both Jetix/Disney fans)
The show had potential, and the first 26 episodes of the series made my childhood (I was 11 turning to 12 at the time it premiered in my country), but I couldn't realise what Disney have done to the series. I didn't want to said this, but I'm glad Season 2 wasn't premiered at all in Latin America.
But one thing must to be said: Jimmy Two-Shoes will be in my heart for a very long time, since it was the last cartoon I actually enjoyed before getting into teen ages and high school. My only wish is that producers of the series would have made the right decision by not radically changing the show's plot, and giving Disney XD and Teletoon a chance for renew it.
