Buts it rapidly gone downhill. The only way to describe the scenarios is ridiculous. Tim and Lucy were about the only reason to keep watching but that's on pause so it's hard to stay engaged. Local cops don't go overseas and take over FBI ( CIA) operations. Bad acting lawyers don't run criminal enterprises. You don't try to get pregnant for a day and decide you might be infertile. You don't go from Rookie to top cop in two years. It's just hard to watch. I started watching because I love Nathan Fillon but even he can't carry this show with such an unrealistic character. And you don't escape jail with 5 minutes of planning. Just stop the idiocy.

Not bad but the books are better

Like most shows and movies the actor is NOTHING like the character and the storyline is about half of the books. The actor portraying Angie couldn't be farther from the book except that both are unlikeable.
All that being said, I do like the show. I just have to separate the two. Love Faith in both mediums and can't stand Angie in both mediums.
What's with all the "ghosts" talking to Will? Unrealistic and unbelievable.
Jeremy in music? No. That's not how it went but it works with this storyline so I'll take it. Jeremy is a much stronger character in the books. Faiths mom also plays a bigger part. And Will's Uncle? He would NEVER let him in his life!
One question- where the heck is Sarah???

Change review - it just gets worse

Update: now we watch this because we finally can hate a show the same. It's like watching a train wreck. You keep watching to see HOW IN THE WORLD can this episode be dumber than the last?. But it's amazing- every episode succeeds in surpassing the nightmare that was the last.
BTW: if CA really has these problems try watching all the other similar areas that don't. Prescribed burns for the love of God!
Why do we keep watching? I need to see Bode get out of jail so he can go back to Seal Team (WHOA?!? CLay's twin!!!!)
Tried so hard. Love Max Theirot but it's just such a cliche - he should have stuck with SEAL Team. Episode 2 was unrealistic but Episode 2 was just pure fantasy. I really just don't understand how stupid the writers think the audience is?
The fires are so fake I could contain them in my own back yard. The lighting storm was unbelievable. I just can't grasp the unbelievable ridiculous writing? Who was thinking what here?
The whole history makes no sense either. And there's nothing to make you want to watch to discover more history. Sad as they have great actors just nothing for them to work with.

What a great show

Well it was only six episodes but that was out the perfect timing to wrap up the storyline. I was a big fan of Longmire and I love this show as well. I really hope there's subsequent seasons and that they are longer if the storyline supports it. But I'm already Jonesing for season two. I'm not going to go through the storyline or the episodes because several other people have done that on here. Just suffice to say that I would highly recommend this show. If I had any negatives it would be that some of the bad guys that were supposed to be hard to figure out were obvious from the beginning. I'd still recommend it.

This was in the comedy section. Not only was it depressing, it never really went anywhere. The female lead (Lori) was totally unlikeable and I really couldn't figure out why the male lead (Doug) would stay with her anyway.
