The story and visual effects of this movie are just awesome.

For sure Japan knows how to make kick-ass films.

But the movie is TOO GOD DAMN SLOW !!!!!

I mean, the actors speak slooooowly, they stand still all of the time, they make minute breaks inside a speech...

Even the frame rate is slow !!!!! (This, I didn't understand, I was at 24 fps...)

Also, they are many clichés... If you have enough cinematographic culture, you will spot them easily...

But it's still an excellent sci-fi movie.

With hope, moral, and most of all... Sacrifices and honor. It's in their blood.

This movie is Excellent, very affecting.

And it's affectiveness that makes a great tale.

Even if I did not understand all the story, it was beautiful.

It has nothing to envy to a "classic" western story like Once Upon A Time In The West and others.

This movie mixes a touching story, with an awesome cast (Gore Verbinski, Jerry Bruckheimer, Hans Zimmer and Johnny Depp), in an affective movie punctuated by a bit of humor. And does it great.

It won't be the movie of the century, but it's definitely worth to watch and cry on.

I watched Olympus Has Fallen before this one, and I was afraid that it will be a poor remake.

It's not. It has many similarities with Olympus Has Fallen, but it's absolutely not the same story or development.

It's a kick-ass action movie ! Wooo-hooh !

But it missed something from Olympus Has Fallen : feelings.

That's sad, but Whit House Down won't give me great memories (only of a great action movie), as Olympus Has Fallen did.

But if you liked Olympus Has Fallen, you will love this one, and vice versa.

Nothing relevant, but it's still a pretty good movie.

I expected it to be like Fast and Furious, but that's not exactly that.

It's not about winning a race or being the fastest.

It's about catching road criminals and mastering a special driving technique.

About a car each minute gets blasted and 1000 liters of gasoline are burnt...

They sure did not have ecology in mind.

But anyway, if you like police stories, Hong Kong and fast cars...You will enjoy it.

I always loves Steve Jobs. What he did, what he believed, how he changed the world.

Though I didn't recognize him in this movie.

I'm not saying Ashton Kutcher is not playing his role well, but I think it's a role nobody can play.

I did not feel Steve's Genius in this movie. I only saw a guy making computers and spitting on IBM.

All we know of Job's life is what financial and social crisis he went through.

Apple's philosophy is not in this movie.

And it's sad, because a really well-made movie about Job's life and ideas could have been really epic.

R.I.P. Steven.

This movie is beautiful for the eyes.

If you loved Armaggedon, if you like heavy war movies...

If you like unhappy endings where everything get screwed up...

And most of all if you don't mind some STEAMPUNK ! You will love this epic movie.

This is just a joke from the beginning until the end.

Yet a wonderfully made joke.

It's hearth- and breath-taking.

Honestly, it's a perfect movie based on fun but taken very seriously in the extreme.

If you like adventure, if you like the 90's, disasters and hippies...

Look no further.

This movie, despite it's old, is very well made.

The special effects are correct, and even a bit too much (a tornado doesn't make THAT sound, seriously...).

It's just a bit sad that the story is quick : it could have taken 3 movies with the same storyline.

But it's a good movie though.

Not a great one.

But still a good one.

A masterpiece.

I don't give 10 because I'm not sure I understood all the story...

But I'm sure that this movie deserves it.

Despite the fact that it's in black & white (which is a bit harder to locate the scene), it is a great movie.

Not the best movie ever, but it's a really beautiful story.

Written very dramatically.

It has all the ingredients to figure in the Top 10 better movies of all mankind.

Liam Neesson is a great actor and Spielberg... Well, it's the best.

This movie is epic.

Just as epic as Battle Los Angeles.

Big machines, big explosions, alien technology invasion...

I didn't get the link with Hasbro though, lol.

And most of all (if the more important thing for a movie to me), a great storyline.

I felt my heart speed up, I felt the suspense, the thrill, the action.

It was just a wonderful time.

Note : if you don't like Rihanna (I don't), it's no big deal. She doesn't sing. ^^

This movie is epic.

It's a great story between people with superpowers and people trying to annihilate them.

Far away from the classic like Superman, Spiderman, Batman or even Iron Man, this movie talks about another power : teleportation and how to fully use it.

What would you do with this kind of power ?

Yeah, I'm sure we would all do what he did.

We would overuse it.

Great movie to watch with everyone in the family.

If you like Hollywood's films, if you like to save the US president at all costs, and if you like action with big guns and great tactics, then you'll love this movie.

Too bad Morgan Freeman doesn't have a bigger role.

But the actors just play perfectly their roles.

This movie is just the most American action film ever.

It's a pure action movie, without political or financial conspiracy.

It also give strong emotions.

A must-watch for everyone who like action movies.

If you like war stories, if you like survival, if you like army movies...

Look no further.

This wonderful movie is about a group of 6 special forces, lost somewhere in the Middle East, without communications or vehicles.

They have to walk through the mountains to reach Afghanistan and their base.

The whole movie is not based on the travel, but it takes a big place.

This is an action and emotional film.

There are some good real action scenes and a lot of feelings during the long and hard travel.

This movie is a very good one.

Not as good as could be Terminator, 300 or even Die Hard, but Clint Eastwood sure still knows how to make an awesome movie.

This is a drama movie, there is no action scenes, just an old tough guy who rules them all.

One negative point though : the film is based on Eastwood's car, but we don't see it very long.

I would like to saw it driving it, and giving it to his new friend before his death.

Anyway, it's a great movie !

This movie is just the best movie I ever watched (and I watched many).

It is not intended to everyone, because everyone will not understand all the storyline.

But intelligent people with lot of sens humor will have a GREAT time.

Then this movie is made for you.

Don't come for Bruce Willis, he has a secondary role, we don't see him that much.

This movie storyline is a bit like "Eraser" with Arnold Schwarzenneger.

But the action is 30 years later.

And this time with Josh Duhamel, who plays his role great.

This is a great action movie.

Watch it with your friends.

There are like 4000 dead during the movie.

This movie essentially shows the cruelty of war, from the Japanese, Korean and Russian view.

This is a beautiful story where two soldiers of different nationalities meet during war.

This is a dramatic movie : the action scenes are not to enjoy, but to cry to.

It's a great journey of two friends who meet each other at several moments of the war, fighting for different countries each time.

Eva is an amazing story about Artificial Intelligence and technology.

The future it takes place in is not so far away, as we already made huge progress in artificial intelligence.

It's a wonderful story of a little girl who assist a guy who design intelligent robots.

The landscape is beautiful, the storyline is perfect, and the suspense is kept until the end.

And at the end, you know that...

Well, watch the film for a huge surprise ! :)

This movie can be watch by anybody in the family, to daughter to grandma.

It's a good idea of where the technology will take us, without being dramatic as Terminator.

This movie is just a must-have.

I did not read the book.

I knew nothing of the Da Vinci's mystery before watching this movie.

But I really loved this movie.

If you like conspiracies, Vatican's hidden secrets from Middle-Age, religious cast who control the world and mystery, you'll love this movie.

If not, you'll love it too.

This movie describes so much thing that the human brain is not -I think- capable of holding all of it.

That's why this movie was done.

To zip all it and describe it within a story.

If you want a movie with only firefights, explosions, building crashes and war, this is not the right movie.

I concede it was what I thought by seeing the poster.

But this is not that.

This movie isn't an action movie at all.

There IS some firefights and explosion, but very few.

This movie is a dramatical story, of a terrorist leader chased all over NYC and Turkey.

It's a very beautiful story with lot of suspense and thrill.

But then again, definitely not a total action movie.
