Breathing Happy (2022)
Wonderful Movie
I saw this at FilmQuest 2022 it was hands down my personal favorite film of the fest. It's heartbreaking, but heartwarming, it's weird, but so simple, it's a little scary, but also so so funny. Great cinema doesn't need a huge budget and a huge cast -- just a great script, great acting and some filmmaking magic. Highly recommend this one!
The film deals with addiction and family and how those two intersect and bump into each other so often, and yes those topics and intersections can sometimes be triggering, but this film has a lot of honesty wrapped in some absurd and hilarious mind-warps and you are gonna love the film, and never look at the doors in your house the same way again!
Win a Trip to Browntown! (2022)
A little dirty, a little cute, with lots of heart
What would a family comedy sex film look like? Well, it would look like this film. Nothing graphic, lots of innuendo, and a lot of heart and a main storyline that I think a lot of us can relate to - putting off personal dreams for family responsibility. It's very low budget but that gives it a lot of its charm - it's a film that practices what it preaches - butt sex jokes aside... If you like your humor heartfelt but a little crude, then you will enjoy this film.
Ferguson Rises (2021)
Powerful Film
This documentary is both very well made and a very powerful and important story. I saw it at a film festival and I hope it finds a distributor that can get this film a wide release so everyone has the opportunity to see it. It will make you mad and make you think and hopefully move you to action. Which is what the best documentaries do. Make sure you see this film.
Tingle Monsters (2019)
Great film!
Spooky, great performance and also raises very timely issues about how women (and people in general) are treated in the anonymous world of the internet and social media. Definitely one to watch!
