Finally after so long without, we have a star trek game that scratches the itch all trek fans have been having.

A game that puts you in the forefront of truly being in a true trek adventure on the final frontier.

Putting you first hand in the action and giving you the range to make choices and determine outcomes for yourself.

If you're like me and always wished you were a member of the crew when watching the show, then you will love this game.

I will concede some of the quick time events and setting oversights are irritating but it is all worth it.

With heaps of replay potential I look forward to my next run-through.

I hope more people get try out and experience for themselves this amazing game.

People are going to have very differing opinions on this film and I will admit it's probably not for everybody.

Unfortunately I've started to teach myself that the more hyped I get about new releases the worse they end up being but I've been looking forward to PREY since it was first announced and let me tell you, it DID NOT disappoint!

Brilliant acting, brilliant fight sequences, brilliant visuals and a brilliant soundtrack all contribute to what I believe is this masterpiece of a film.

It differs heavily from its predecessors in the franchise and that is okay, it's good to flesh out the idea of the ultimate hunter and its prey.

Maybe that's indeed what the goal of this film was, being the only predator movie in said franchise to not have predator in the title.

In all honesty as someone who likes the original predator movie a lot but values plot above all else. It was amazing to be shown a new aspect and a new story that felt more like an epic and less of a cheesy b grade or an 80s action. Not that there's anything wrong with those last two categories.

Despite what others will say, I think PREY now sits as my favourite of the franchise and perhaps even a favourite of all time worthy of many more rewatches.
