Apes on horses! Apes with guns!
11 July 2014
This film is not just the best film of the summer, it's probably so far the best movie of the year!

These are the exact reasons why this film is great:

1.Amazing visual effects

2.Great storyline

3.Awesome action (Apes on horses, apes with shotguns)

4.Great acting

5.Andy Serkis is probably the best motion capture actor ever.

Overall the movie was just spectacular. My advice: don't expect anything when you go into this film. It is without a doubt the best entry in the planet of the apes franchise. Another thing about the special effects in the film, in Rise of the Planet of The Apes although that film had great special effects, there were some parts that you could tell were CGI while in Dawn, you couldn't tell if it was motion capture or CGI puppets. You literally feel like you are looking at apes. Anyways, the story is great, it had some awesome action, this film didn't disappoint me at all.

So I will say that Dawn of The Planet of the Apes gets: 10/10 stars

One of the best animated films of 2013
1 March 2014
The Wind Rises

Lets look at this film both quality wise and favorite wise.

Quality wise: The animation in this film is just absolutely breathtaking. It's like a work of art. The story line is very emotional and realistic. It showcases what Japan was like during World War 2 and the Great Depression. The movie is a story of both war and love at the same time.Quality wise this film gets an overall A+.

Favorite wise: I like this movie. I'm not an anime type of guy but I seriously love this movie. It's funny, it has great animation, the characters are pretty well developed. The movie just overall relaxes you and gives you a smile on your face when you walk out of the theater, or your living room, or what ever room you watched this movie in on your smartphone. It is definitely one of my favorite animated films of all time. I give this film an A+.

Therefore, I will end this review by saying both quality wise and favorite wise:

This film gets 9.8/10 stars.

Pretty Good
30 January 2014
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, a slow-paced yet very adventurous film. The film proves to be a great film and has spectacular action sequences. While the film does have stuff that wasn't in the book, it still has great visual effects and editing. The acting in this movie also proved to be one of the best reasons to watch the film. The cinematography in this film was absolutely breathtaking because of the movie being filmed in New Zealand just like Lord of The Rings. It was obvious that the film was trying to be a prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The film overall was great by quality standards and is one of favorite movies. The film definitely deserves an 8 out of 10.

An Amazing retelling of the story of moses
14 December 2013
This film succeeds at telling the story of Moses in the book of Exodus. The music is absolutely fantastic!!! The relationship between Ramses and Moses is just like a relationship we have with all our brothers. The animation in this movie is amazing. This film is not exactly as good as some other adaptations of the story of Moses, but it proves as one of the best animated films in all of history. The Prince of Egypt has a brilliant score by the composer of The Lion King, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Man of Steel, and Inception: Hans Zimmer.

The Prince of Egypt has brilliant storytelling, great music, beautiful artwork and animation, and a brilliant score. This film will go down in animated movies history.

Corniest. Film. Ever.

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the stupidest ideas ever put to screen. First we have superman, not the hero from man of steel, but a mild mannered dork turning into a mild mannered dork. It was awful. It started with a dumb kid making superman collect all the nukes into a giant net and throw them into space, with the UN okaying it! Then Lex and some 80's guy somehow cut superman's unnecessarily indestructible hair and launch it on a nuke towards the sun but doesn't slow down or get caught by the gravity of a planet, instead creates Dolph Lugrendish in tights. And he wants to randomly kill superman without knowing him or that he came from him and they have the worst chick fights ever! By the way, unnecessarily indestructible hair.

It's just okay
11 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Superman Returns had some good qualities, but it also had some bad qualities. Which pretty much made the movie okay. One good quality of this movie was the mew actor to play Lex Luthor was better than Gene Hackman. Another good quality, was that this movie was better than Superman 3 and Superman 4. The best scene in the movie was when he saved that plane from crashing. That scene was awesome. Now down to the bad qualities. Every actor who we know and love from the last movies is replaced by actors who put know emotion into their characters. Besides the guy who played Lex Luthor, every actor was just boring. I honestly didn't like the scene where he is just using his powers in farm field. I felt that scene was just pointless. Plus, this is suppose to be a sequel/somewhat reboot of the first one, yet they totally copy the first movie. The same space intro, the same flying scene with Lois, and the same scene of him flying in space. Overall, this movie is just okay.

A toy Company made this?
5 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Don't listen to critics. Whenever a kids TV show or movie comes along, they assume it is terrible just because it is for kids and do not watch it. Now if Lego does it, imagine. I thought it would be dorky and childish, but it had great characters, awesome villains, pretty cool fight scenes, heart and a couple of laughs. The only unoriginal season was the third one, which was purely for comedy. If anyone says it is a copy of bey blade or TMNT, remind them to not judge a book by its cover. The voice acting is great, and even Lord Garmadon, the villain, winds up being good in the end and cares for his son, showing no human is totally evil (unless possessed). Overall, it is great, and though may have some one-liners, it is a kids show, what can you expect? Also some elements are kinda dark, like the overlord, lord Garmandon and the 4 weapons and the serpentine.

Joel, you where possessed when you made this film
5 August 2013
This movie SUCKS!!!!!! The entire film is just one two and a half hour toy commercial. It's possibly the worst film of all time with over the top action sequences, ridiculous costumes and make-up, effect that were obviously drawn on paper, just plain terrible acting, everyone wanting to punch robin in the face 700 times, and most of all, 65% of the entire movie is just plain one-liners. There is just plain nothing I love about about this movie. It makes every other bad movie look like a masterpiece. Don't even waste your time like I did. If you want to live a happy life on earth. This movie not only killed the Batman franchise for 8 years, but it also killed superhero movies for 4 years. George Clooney is the worst batman ever!!!!!!! Joel Schumaucher, if you are looking at this review you killed one of my favorite superheros. At least, thank the Lord God Almighty that he created Christopher Nolan. Why did Warner Bros. release this garbage. Don't see it at all!!!!!!!!!

Up! Up! and Away!! to total awesomeness
1 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is the best superman movie of them all. Don't you dare listen to the critics. This movie succeeds in every way. Zack Snyder has made Superman like we have never seen before, you have to see this movie. This movie proves that Superman can't save everyone. To be honest with you, I have been waiting for a movie that shows Superman fighting in the big city and thousands of people died. That may sound deadly to you( trust me I was disturbed) but hey, at least it's more realistic than Nuclear Man. Russel Crowe did an amazing job as Jor-El. Especially in the battle of Krypton at the beginning of the movie. Henry Cavil did an incredible job as Superman, and this is coming from someone who for years thought that superman was a mild mannered dork. Overall, it's a really good film.
